I guess it will be explained in the next Disney Star Wars movie which nobody will ever see. "If you're white , it's not for you to determine ." Why not? There were early rumours that said she was his long-lost daughter. Yes, the universe needs more admiral purple-hairs and other kamikaze female pilots who incite mutiny in their crews. It's a Disney movie. She never changes her outfit tho. If the rumours are true then you'll get about 3 movies' worth of deleted scenes because Disney effed it up so much. Mostly agree with you, but I felt nobody knew what to do with the old cast for the entire trilogy. Grow up and stop obsessing. The Bible has been around for far longer. I wish that would retire. Not to mention the ability to pilot any ship she sits in along with having exceptional knowledge of how to repair it. Literally speaking, she could have used the Falcon to fly away from Jakuu anytime she wanted to, but didn't. Yes. Making her the most boring character in the franchise. Probably reading her facebook page after TLJ was released. "Rey's quick acquiring of force powers is no more amazing than Luke's, when he becomes a full Jedi capable of many force and mind powers after like 3 years of training." The key word here is 'training'. All the training Luke went through, the mistakes he made even losing his hand in the process is undermined by Ray's miraculous aqusition of force abilities, not even getting a smudge on her outfit in the process. Yet Palatine never uses it on Annakin, and as Darth Vader he has to rely on a respirator to stay alive. I remember my mum saying when she saw The Wizard of Oz as a kid, when Dorothy steps out of the house into Munchkin land. I think that was the first time a lot of ppl saw a Colour movie. And l felt the same for this movie. Yoda didn't use force heal on Obi-wan and Annakin after they were defeated by Dooku. Just saying. I've just seen the movie for the first time. I'll take it all back, I had no idea there was a plain view of them from the planet. The first shot we see of the ships is of them rising from the sea in the direction of... up. What a shit movie. Only it killed the executives and production staff before they started writing the script.
