I strongly disliked u571 and loved Crimson Tide. Ummm it was ok. Ru talkin bout Dragonslayer 1981? I haven’t seen it… I think this is one of MM best roles ever. He’s perfect as the alpha male and appears to have taken this part more seriously than most of his other trite. The cgi is surprisingly good for that time period as well. Yup, it’s ass. None it’s stupid boring and forgettable. It was overly focused on her relationship with Ordelia. She came across as needy and dependent And seeking approval which isn’t like Clarice at all. Agreed. I love Ice Station Zebra, it’s not very good but somehow I love it. Oh that new one Hunter Killer is entertaining if not predictable. Cmon, I don’t wanna be responsible for that…. This could turn out to be your favorite movie ever. You are so isosceles. I feel ya the only 2 shows I was watching were cancelled, this one and Clarice which I am not too bummed about. I can see that. Maybe Shuri as an interim BP until a proper ceremony and challenge tradition takes place. I watch it once year at least and it holds. Well I always recommend seeing it for yourself but I found myself to be aggravated and irritated for a large part of the film. LMAO. Tru dat. Oh yeah Basil Poledouris was a genius, he also did Red Dawn, Robocop, TheHunt for Red October and many more of my favorite film compositions. He worked frequently with John Milius. Right on. I thought some parts of the story and the acting were poor. The script did not seem fully fleshed out, like it needed 1 or 2 more re-writes to tighten it up. I especially thought in her situation she needed to calm down and figure it out as she had no time for dramatics. Not the actors fault but the directors. As I said there was a really good story in there but the narrative did not flow well. A better director could have put out something better. I feel like it could have been a thoughtful and elegant story but did not achieve its potential. Ultimately it’s forgettable. Yoo-hoo.
