I appreciate your opinion and as I said like or dislike of a film is subjective. I don’t think you are as much of a cinefile as you think you are. I have rated over 3400 films on IMDB. And most of the IMDB top 250. Your lack of knowledge of the directors is a good indication. But I respect your opinion even though I disagree. This is a good film regardless of your plot hole. Every film has them after all.
Right on bro. You are a cinefile. Have you seen The Last Castle? If so what did you think?
That’s a great list. How about John McTiernan? Ridley Scott? Tom Tykwer? Tony Scott? Robert Zemeckis? Michael Mann? William Friedkin? Wes Anderson? David Fincher? The Coen bro’s? Do you dig their work?
Ok well we definitely have different tastes. I can’t say I was a big fan of any of those. Appreciation of film and stories is very subjective. I prefer the oldies much more than everything new that is coming out. My most recent favorite being Wind River, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Whiplash. Who are your favorite directors?
Casablanca is a 10. What is the most recent movie you liked a lot?
Lol, I get it. I stand by what I said. What’s the oldest movie you ever watched that you thought was awesome?
You talkin to me?
Yeah or Inception.
Yeah it doesn’t do much for me.
This is my favorite of all the Indy films hands down. Sean Connerys presence added so much and I loved the ending when he tells Indy “Let it go” because he loves his son more than his life long quest.
U can buy it on Amazon and it’s worth the watch. Trippy man.
IDK clearly she’s gorgeous.
That’s another reason I cancelled HBOMax.
This looks fun.
Don’t fall for it. It’s another setup for a classic MNS letdown. I will never give this man another cent of my money. GFY MNS.
Yeah I agree. Not sure what turned me off to it for so long. Great director and cast.
Yeah it seems they should. AF is an excellent director.
Lol, good reply. Now let’s talk about that coyote scene and it’s meaning…. 😎
He is amazing in Straw Dogs and Time After Time.
Well I did rewatch it over and over again and at first I thought you were correct. But after so many views I realized that the empty mag he ejected had already hit the floor as evidenced by the sound of it. He did in fact pull another loaded mag and drop it as was evidenced by the second sound and view which also seems to show a brass casing at the top of the loaded mag. The 2 sounds were very different between the empty mag and the loaded one. As well as the time span. I can understand how this scene may be in dispute but other than a MM commentary explaining it I am still going with my interpretation.
