It's quite good.
Don't feel bad, I also avoided it for a long time. But then one day I decided to watch it, thought it was a lot of fun, watched it a couple of more times after that, and eventually bought it on Blu-Ray.
It's a smarter film than I expected and the details of the sniper's craft are pretty interesting. Mark is well-suited to the role.
If you're not aware, the concept was later turned into a show for the USA network starring Ryan Phillippe. It was nowhere near as good as the movie but the first season wasn't bad.
Yeah I agree. Not sure what turned me off to it for so long. Great director and cast.
