Unfortunately I did not find his character particularly interesting. Maybe you get it and can explain his character arc? I love character study films but to me this was not that.

Yeah, its really a bad film and story. And the fact that Rob has no reaction whatsoever when he learns this made me wonder what was the point of any of it.
Yeah but that HQ escape scene was the best part, imho.

Actually I thought the dub was excellently mixed, but your right the boy was a weakness. I thought it was ok but a little long. 6/10 worth watching if you like vampire tales. This one has a uniqueness to it. I am not aware of any wokeness in this film.

It was boring. All style no substance. Great visuals but crap story. Just like The Arrival. I hope Dune is better.
