As someone who was disappointed to see "imposter" Morpheus in the trailers, now that I've seen the film I like what they did with him. It sucks there couldn't have been some Fishburne fan service to a degree, but the story didn't seem forced (at least within the context of the larger story) and the actor filled the role well. I thought the Smith actor was pleasantly sinister, but hard to accept as Smith exactly. Would have preferred him as a new character. The movie definitely lacked Weaving's presence. My impression is that they were bots and her memory was constructed to think she had history with them. when really they only appear when she needed to be "handled" in the right direction. I'm still unclear if people truly aged in any version of the matrix or if there was a "groundhog day" effect to their lives. Certainly in this most recent version for Neo and Trinity is seems that they pretty much relived a very similar day every day. After having just watched it, I'd rank it as the best sequel, though has its flaws. I love the meta stuff in the first half of the movie and it's disorienting trying to figure out exactly what's going on. That was always the best part of the original movie to me as well, and why I liked Reloaded at the time it came out (it hinted at a mind bleep that never came about in Revolutions). I just wish there was a bit more interest in the second half of the movie. From other people's comments here maybe it's the other way around. They didn't like the meta stuff and wanted more action. Why would Walt do that? He was guilty of cooking the meth. He wouldn't volunteer that information to incriminate himself. Besides, Gus had a feeling he could convince Walt to cook more for the right price. "Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle states that there is inherent uncertainty in the act of measuring a variable of a particle. Commonly applied to the position and momentum of a particle, the principle states that the more precisely the position is known the more uncertain the momentum is and vice versa." -- https://chem.libretexts.org/Bookshelves/Physical_and_Theoretical_Chemistry_Textbook_Maps/Supplemental_Modules_(Physical_and_Theoretical_Chemistry)/Quantum_Mechanics/02._Fundamental_Concepts_of_Quantum_Mechanics/Heisenberg%27s_Uncertainty_Principle Always thought Heisenberg was chosen by the show to represent the uncertainty and lack of control despite characters attempting to control for many variables in their plans. At the time Walter chose the name, he was an uncertainty to those who were underestimating him.
