Smith and Morpheus - spoilers

The movie is watchable, the action was good.

Complaints:

This would have been much better if they casted the original Smith and Morpheus.

Neil Harris was poorly casted into this movie. He read his lines as if it was a comedy, and did not behave like a respected member of the machine ruling class.

The plot was a bit confusing - from my understanding Neo and Trinity produce more electricity than the other humans. But only if they are in close proximity.

Lawrence Fishburne got too old and fat (look up recent pics of him to see). The filmmakers didn’t even ask for him to return

They wanted Weaving to return as Agent Smith, but he had other films in the works

A fat and old Morpheus is better than some cracker jack knock off Morpheus. Although I do like the actor they replaced him with and if you are going to replace him then they picked the best actor for it...but still.

As someone who was disappointed to see "imposter" Morpheus in the trailers, now that I've seen the film I like what they did with him. It sucks there couldn't have been some Fishburne fan service to a degree, but the story didn't seem forced (at least within the context of the larger story) and the actor filled the role well.

I thought the Smith actor was pleasantly sinister, but hard to accept as Smith exactly. Would have preferred him as a new character. The movie definitely lacked Weaving's presence.

I didn't care about the new actor for Smith, but they really should have had still talking like Smith talked.
