Yes, it was the father who was killed on the front lawn. The Script got him and Michael there.

Every character was beyond dumb, except that kid Julian and somewhat Vicky.
I tried speculating this at first, then I realized how pedestrian the script was and figured they wouldn't even be able to explain it well, so they avoided doing that. I mean how the hell else does the doctor get to accompany the lieutenant without explaining to the authorities what happened on the bus first?

To be honest, I haven't seen that movie since the 90's so I'm sure it would be far more annoying and misplaced to me now... although I find it hard to take ANYTHING with Arnold in it serious lol...
When I was forced to process the scene of her slipping and falling, I knew for sure this movie would be mediocre.

The name of the second track doesn't make any sense in context of the film. That scene ended up being another boring rehash moment with a great, yet poorly implemented, score.
Seemed like another "Hey remember this!" moment.
