Did you see her in "Zathura?" That was also a very lackluster performance on her part, but then again, she was a minor character in that. Her character in that spent most of her time sleeping, or being cryogenically frozen due to a move her brother made in the game. The problem with society today is, everyone is suspicious of everyone else's motives. They're always looking for boogeymen (such as pedophiles) when there might not be. Not all men are child predators, but there's no way to know for sure, because the real ones are sneaky and good at fooling people. Unless the parents of the children know you personally, it's very suspicious for a lot of parents who don't. I loved seeing her as Serafina Pekkala (the Queen of the witches) in "The Golden Compass," though it was a minor role. Oprah, and Kristen Stewart. She's also a terrible movie director. All she can do (semi-well) are films about race. You try having her do anything else, and she's awful at telling a story on screen. She also inserts as many non-white people into her movies as possible, even when the story had primarily white people in it. (Racist much, Ava?) Just take a look at that wreck she made called "A Wrinkle in Time." The only reason she has gotten anywhere in show biz is because she's friends with powerful black people in that sphere, such as Oprah. That, and she's a black liberal that repeats the same lies and beliefs other black liberals NPC's in show biz recite. Otherwise, if she had tried getting anywhere on actual skills, she ranks very far below actual talented movie directors. More like she would be angry her husband was sleeping with several men behind her back. Omg! Could you imagine Kelly and Gordon doing that on the show?! That's about as crazy as hearing the actors who played Dr. Bashir and Kira Nerys being married behind the scenes while they filmed "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine!" It was unfortunately a convenient plot device, just like Yaphit being able to just ooze into Isaac's body and reboot him at the end. Some of the writing doesn't make sense, but then again, there are little things here and there about the show that have bothered me too. That's a very good question. You'd think the EMP would have hurt the ship as well as the robots. Teri Garr in the Gary 7 episode of "Star Trek: TOS." Everybody in "Andromeda," "The Expanse," and the newer "Bullslhit Galactica" show. I'll see what I can think of later. Everyone keeps talking about seeing ghosts. While I don't disbelieve the possibility of them existing, I have never actually seen one. The only explanation could be that perhaps a ghost used the bathroom and forgot to turn off the water, though I'm not sure why he or she would coat the sides of the sink and toilet with dirt. A.I. hands down. No, for two reasons: 1.) It would be a waste of bombs ($$ & resources) and human life (priceless). 2.) North Korea is basically China's "Problem child." Despite their differences, commies always look out for each other, and if anyone threatened little NK, China would come in just like they did back in the 50s in the Korean War. It would be a massacre of epic proportions (and I only WISH I was exaggerating). On the flip-side, North Korea would be very foolish trying to start any war of any kind with the US. Basically, the first nuke they fired and successfully hit a target on our soil (if their missiles even could make it), would basically be the last one they ever fired. The US has many allies, many of whom, do not like North Korea, and will not tolerate such cruelty and foolhardy actions. South Korea in particular has the biggest bone to pick with NK, and they would be the first to mobilize and come after the commies. The other nations would send in bombs as well, and NK would be wiped off the map before China could make a sorry excuse for their problem child's actions. You and I are probably some of the only people who actually liked this movie :(. By "we," I mean people who like better-written fairy-tales. Apparently you never watched Fairytale Theater or Timeless Tales. The witch in those versions of Rapunzel truly was a full-blown witch. In Fairytale Theater, she could stun people with her magic, make doors disappear, obviously had found a way to magically become wealthy, magically transported Rapunzel to an oasis in the desert, and Rapunzel once mentioned riding "Pegasus," meaning the witch had access to supernatural creatures at times. In the Timeless Tales, the witch could do similar stuff, and turned the prince into a bird as punishment. I'd say that's WAY more magic than old Gothel could do, wouldn't you say? If I am, I'm not the type to talk to the dead. Just keep in mind that everything you see in your dreams, even the bad ones, is symbolic. I doubt the evil beings were actual demons in your dream. They probably represented something you feared or loathed in your life. The horrendous costumes alone keeps me away, never mind the crappy, B-grade plot. I still maintain that "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" was the best of the Robin Hood movies made (never got to watch the Errol Flynn one). Thank you for letting us all know what you are made of.
