For custody, I imagine it would depend on the nature of her mental-illness/ ability to function. But if she proudly admits in court that she's leaning the child towards gender-change/ cross-dressing, that would be enough Geez. The thing to do is report her to Social Services and report that she's doing such. Even if she denies it, it's better than nothing. (social services may not think it qualifies for negligence either, I dont' know). I highly doubt any physician would condone this, We cannot genetically test or do a CT Scan for this, though. (you cannot do one for a concussion or that disease that football payers get from constant head trauma, though there other symptoms present). With other disorders or conditions, there are tangible symptoms. But, I agree, children should not remotely be thinking about "transitioning", and to subject a child to the notion is abusive. People think they are being progressive, when it's only self-defeating There is no way to show faulty brain-wiring, no more than with other conditions. All we have is the so-called transgender's word on it. That is an emotional concept, not a physical/physiological one. (and people are not fish, or other organisms, for example, that eat/defecate from the same opening). As many gay people are anti--''LGBTQ'', and whatever silly topical terms used today. Well, regular gays, I mean. Not all homosexuals want to be associated and lumped together with your silly -LGBTQ label that includes TG and the word "Queer". It's no wonder people are homophobic when you go out of your way to make homosexuality exactly what you don't want it viewed as, and the rest of the homosexual population has to pay the price. Selfishness, naturally. ("brain dead" is right) You're replying to me? Yes, I know Lynde and Sargent were gay. I was addressing the feminist issue initially, though. Since you mentioned the homosexual angle, it does not mean that the industry knew Sargent was gay. Richard Chamberlain warned us after he came out-- and the fact is, heterosexual-audiences still are negatively-affected by knowing their romantic-leads are homosexual. Notice how the masses are surprised (!) when they discover a masculine rugged man is gay. If they were so accepting of homosexuality, they would not be surprised and disbelieving. My point is that homophobia is very possibly innate, rather than societal-"conditioning". Notice how all the liberal, ''open -minded'' folks just love when they find out their offspring is gay. We live in a society wearing rose-colored glasses on subjects like homosexuality, except for the people who are honest enough to admit how they feel, even though it doesn't sound nice. He did not molest anyone. And singling out Hollywood as a ''corrupt pedo-fest'' for what happens in EVERY city or state, and to the same degree, is naive. And if the roles were reversed with an older woman/younger man, you couldn't care less since young men must not be as sensitive, etc. Typical lynch mob-mentality at work, along with the double-standard. And before you think of calling anyone a pedo-defender, learn what the definition of the word means, for your own sake. If she were pretty/beautiful, would she be as revered and considered as ''super-talented'? Maybe. And Broadway musicals actually gives you leeway to NOT be as talented, contrary to others' opinion (with the exception that Streisand could sing). Lauren Bacall And Raquel Welch got rave reviews on Broadway...but, great actors/singers? Seems snobbish for one thing. And a hint of that insecure quality "reject or be rejected", which may stem from her childhood. And becoming too famous, too fast. If everyone is calling you "the greatest" at age 25..you may began to believe it. I meant your comment ''look like a ombre''. if it looks bad while growing it out, darken or tone it instead. (and what I meant by avoiding possible brassiness by using a semi-permanent and/or an "ash" hue) The brassy color may be due to using a golden/red hue--not an ash/drab one. Or trying to go to light without pre-lightening. Depends on what you attempted. The peroxide (present in both dark/light color) also can make it brassy; use a semi-permanent that doesn't contain peroxide. (Manufactures of hair color have been good at labeling, swatches, etc. than they used to) Who cares what is personality is like? Since when? The film-watching community cares, especially his fans. You can say whatever you wish, but don't expect to get a free pass. Yeah, being a lucky rich successful woman is having a sad life. And you have no idea if she was murdered, and why would you assume she would want you to be bugging her ex-husband by accusing him of murdering her? (if it was Jane Doe, you wouldn't give it more than 2 min. thought) It doesn't take that much skill (not an exact science), double-processed lightened blonde roots will be more of a challenge, though. Many women (and men) buy the color of the shelf and have good results-- especially if you use a semi-permanent that washes out in 6-24 weeks. Professional Beauticians have instilled in people that they are indispensable, but its their bread & butter. It's also not unusual to come to the defense of the female because she cannot possibly be lying..and because she's female. Beauty standards were not different then, except that we did not deny how overweight we could wear skin-tight revealing clothes. Valerie Harper was overweight or she would not have deliberately lost 20-30 lbs on Weight Watchers for her own personal desire. And there was never a time when her character was called "ugly" nor "fat", not once. The bigger question is why posters are writing the script --and adjectives--that never existed. I have watched a loved one suffer from cancer, the treatment and after effects. And? The man was an unashamedly ungrateful spoiled ass from the get-go. (read an excerpt from his memoirs). I can see why he feels so close to Cher. Don't assume to tell others what they "obviously" have done or have not. Ok. But on this particular thread, I meant. how is Quasimodo being cynical, scornful, sarcastic, antagonistic? For being wary of beavis being in the acting business? Yes, that's what schizophrenia is. And you're cured now? Or have it completely under control? (not sure what you mean by "dealt" with it)
