schizophrenia and paranoia stem from acting aspirations? With all due respect, that would be a symptom, not a cause. Well, mental-health problems and show business is like oil and vinegar. You do whatever you feel, and maybe you'll be lucky, or at least get it out of your system. But, don't' do it expecting to be $$ well-off; that would be a fluke And one more thing about being an actor: maybe you were meant for something better. The point of the sitcom was for him to be exasperated with the stuff going on. People do not seem to GET this show. York prevails in all depts. aw..you're just jealous because you didn't get any. How gross and disgusting! well.. I was being somewhat tongue in cheek when I posted that. Straight men see women in a different light based on their desires and needs--same as straight women see men. I don't know if it's better or not. If gay men are more misogynistic, it's because they view women with clearer vision instead of straight men who rationalize and tolerate them. There is a difference between hate and indifference; that's one thing to consider. Seems to me that straight women are (hateful) misandrists toward gay men since they do not receive the attention and admiration that straight men give them. And on and on..who the F8ck cares. You're right: taste is subjective, yet it's probably human nature to not understand and be judgmental as to why others do not relate to sounds (and sights) that you do. I'd like to think that things are subjective to an extent, meaning that even if you do not relate, you can still identity the words & phases and rhyme & reason as to why others do. (whether it's the blues, or classical, or pop, or rock). Madonna was stronger and more self-assured than to rely on substances or too intelligent to even try them in order to become addicted, assuming she has an addictive predisposition to substances. I think pop music takes a back-seat to the rockers because it's not considered "cool". Much creativity went into pop-music of the 60's-70's-80's, while I find the NON mainstream ''music'' to be noise (not edgy nor dangerous, but noise) ~~Scene: audition/ rock Question: "so, who gave the best audition"? Reply; "how can you tell"? Husbands were not 'supposed' to be warm and cuddly of the era, a whole 50 yrs ago? If Sargent was not cuddly and handsome, it's due to Sargent, not a ''prototypical'' thing. (and he didn't seem to be hiding being gay; Sargent played himself) Madonna could also sing. That helps. (''catchy sounds''?) Yes, I understand now--I was reading too quickly I see what you meant, sorry. what does that have to do with my reply? Is that a disclaimer? A man knows if another man is handsome without being gay (since that's what you were inferring) It's ok. Sexy and hot the same? Well, kind of. Though, no 80 yr man or woman is "hot". They may be good-looking, suave, charismatic, classy, but not hot.. No particular celebrity is hot to everybody, but a question of type ( which the board was judging) I'm not a fan nor admirer of his in any regard, but he's generally known for being desirable and ''hot''. (in his youth) You know, like if the topic was Raquel Welch or Marilyn Monroe and male posters claimed those women were not ("exactly") hot nor wanted, but only think they are.
