She supposedly replied, "Oh yes, very much so!" The power behind the throne and the rest is history.

shareOhhh no I wasn’t mocking you. I really did find it interesting but made me laugh wondering what his wife told him to make that Choice so definitive.
I found it really interesting, it just sort of also made me laugh that Cubby gave the ultimate choice to his wife. Not his partner in the franchise not director or anyone of the film production but his wife.
It’s sweet that he trusted her so much with that final choice and at the same time funny that just one opinion made him go with the one of best casting choices ever....
It's not so unusual. Many men of power are influenced in their decisions by the women in their lives. But yeah, I found the anecdote amusing also.
