It was pretty good, it helps to be brown, meaning coming from a Hispanic / Latin background. La Llorona is pretty much like the boogy man, you grow up scared of her. If this movie was the first time you're hearing of her, you won't care much.
Yeah, but he only fired about 10 missiles. Thanos didn't make it rain for an hour and then look for puddles of Avengers.
Um, they're still married, so maybe not such a terrible person after all...
Because the more recent Gamora was killed by Thanos.
When both were dangling from the cliff, Hawkeye was holding Natasha. Then she kicked off the cliff wall and fell to her death.
Everyone is assuming it will be a prequel movie, showing all her back story.
It worked out nicely as his famous last words.
Rampage video game, lol. Never watched the "movie."
I would have to agree with you. I felt the movie was very meh. The Ritual and Cabin in the Woods were great movies.
That episode was hilarious. At the end, they put the "evil" bart in the attic, and try to rehabilitate the "good" bart.
Just a little, my main problem was that all the main family was all super white ethnicities.
Oh boy, just what I wanted to see an emotional rollercoaster drama x-men style. There better be at least a little cohesion to the source material and "aliens" or else this will be DOA.
Well whatever, they don't show any "aliens" in the trailer. Therefore, they will be in the movie.
IMDB's movie description:
Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.
Google:
The X-Men face their most formidable and powerful foe when one of their own, Jean Grey, starts to spiral out of control. During a rescue mission in outer space, Jean is nearly killed when she's hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. The X-Men must now band together to save her soul and battle aliens that want to use Grey's new abilities to rule the galaxy.
Rotten Tomatoes:
In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain. With Jean spiraling out of control, and hurting the ones she loves most, she begins to unravel the very fabric that holds the X-Men together. Now, with this family falling apart, they must find a way to unite -- not only to save Jean's soul, but to save our very planet from aliens who wish to weaponize this force and rule the galaxy.
This is a case of the "twist" getting added just so there was a twist. Just pretend it doesn't exist.
Regardless of "flop" status, the movie was extremely good.
I'm digging the whole Star Trek / Mass Effect crossover. I never would've expected the Reapers to make an appearance.
How is the show set 10 years before the original series? This episode takes place after???
Cool. Yeah, the new Godzilla, HEL yeah.
Wait, you said moving chairs? You must tell me more. It would've been so exhilarating with Pacific Rim.
Loved the movie despite the anime eyes for the URM. I finally went out to catch it before it left the cinema. I so wish I paid more for IMAX 3D.
