Moviefanatic, do you now understand what I mean when I say Nolan haters are generally very stupid? I think he was warning Dante’s to not become an evil person like Danglar, Fernand and Villefort I thought Badger or Skinny Pete was going to be the guy that Jimmy hired to rob the little figurine but then it ended up being Ira which was just as good. I do admit this season has been kinda boring so far but that's what I thought of the first 4 episodes of seasons 2 and 3 and the end of those seasons ended up being amazing. And actually until the Crawl Space episode I thought Season 4 of Breaking Bad was pretty boring as well. So bottom line before I say the season sucks I am going to wait until the end. I too think that Zorro is a better film than Monte Cristo (2002), now The Count of Monte Cristo by far has the best source material (one of the best books I've ever read) and it has the better story but Zorro has better acting, better action, better pacing and better music. What I find interesting is both films seem to borrow from each other Mask of Zorro borrowed from the novel The Count of Monte Cristo by: - The villain has feelings for the hero's girlfriend/wife - The hero goes to prison only to escape and seek revenge against those who wronged him - After the hero (Diego/Dantes) escapes from prison they turn themselves into civilized gentlemen and infiltrate high society - Diego escapes the exact same way that Edmond Dantes planned to escape (taking the place of a dead prisoner) The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) borrowed from The Mask of Zorro (1998) by: - Before the hero is sent to prison he engages in a sword fight with the villain but loses (the fight between Dantes and Fernand was not in the novel) - In the finale the hero loses his sword but grabs the villains sword and stabs him through the chest, the villain doesn't die immediately - The villain raises the heroes child (Albert was not Dante's son in the novel) - There is a scene where an older mentor figure (Diego/Faria) teaches a younger protege (Dantes/Murietta) how to sword fight 6. Ummmm what are you replying to? My previous #6 was: "6. The only real difference between comic book Bane and TDKR is TDKR Bane doesn't use Venom. He was overall a faithful adaptation of the comic book character." Seriously dude at you 10 years old or mentally challenged? Your inability to construct a logical, English sentence makes me very suspicious. Re-write your #6 statement in proper English and then I'll give it my due attention. If you are referring to Batman defeating Bane in the second fight it's not because Batman was stronger it's because he fought smarter and knocked the tube out of the mask. Bane made plenty of smart decisions, he and Talia were equal partners in the plan. Bane was more of a field commander/general and made most of the tactical decisions, he is very much not a henchman. Uh they never deactivated the bomb, Batman had to fly it out over the bay where it detonated, again you need to pay better attention. Catwoman was never loyal to Bane, she was never even in league with Bane, the reason she was involved was because Daggett said he'd give her the Clean Slate for stealing Bruce Wayne's fingerprints. Where is he smart? The Plane Heist, the stock exchange, him rallying the entire city of Gotham against the rich, his philosophy of the pit which is basically he is going to torture people by breaking their spirit by making them think that they can escape when they really can't which will cause them to sink into despair and hopelessness. Dude TDKR is seriously way too deep for you, maybe you should stick with Batman and Robin, it's clearly closer to your intelligence level. other than the early Harry Potter films I can't think of a single film that is a straight adaptation of the work it is based on. Even a great film like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest strayed very far from its source material. the fact that Bane doesn't have venom is an alteration that Nolan made to make Bane fit within his universe which is a universe where Batman can exist in the real world. "The mask keeps the pain at bey" so yes the mask was explained again you need to pay closer attention. Also learn how to spell "Talia" 5. Um yeah most action movies don't have their actors perform their own stunts, this is nothing new. Roger Moore used a stunt double is pretty much all of the Bond films he was in. Harrison Ford used a stunt double as well in Temple of Doom. Bale is considerably taller than Hardy so Hardy wore lifts in many of the scenes he was in with Bale. "Missed casted him", WTF are you trying to say? Again take a language/writing class you moron. The body double can't act thus the reason why Tom Hardy was playing Bane, he was a professional actor while some body builder you pull off the street can't act the part. You really don't know what you're talking about and you really suck at this. 1. Clearly you didn't pay attention because the events of TDK had a profound impact on TDKR, Rachel and Harvey's death especially. The reason that Gotham was in the situation that it was in was because of what happened in the previous movie. Most of your "point" is simply your poorly conveyed subjective opinion. You clearly don't understand TDKR if you think the events of TDK are completely ignored. The Joker wasn't mentioned because Nolan thought it would be disrespectful to Heath Ledger and TDKR needed to stand on its own and not bank on references to the previous film(s) which is all that the current SJW Star Wars films do. 2. OK I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say here, rewrite this point in proper English and then I will give it my due attention. We knew all we needed to about Catwoman, a full backstory wasn't necessary. Point debunked another round for SpaceAce 3. More subjectivity and piss poor English. Learn how to write you moron. 4. OK I think it's well within the realm of possibility that consider Talia and her mother were the only women down there the other prisoners had rape on their minds. If you choose to think that they didn't fine it doesn't affect the story, all we need to know is that they wished harm upon them and Bane saved Talia. Talia didn't have the rope when she jumped, she knew she was dead if she didn't make it (as did Bruce), that was the whole point of the pit, you needed your fear of death to escape and if you were able to rise from the pit you were a completely different person. Sounds like the symbolism of the pit went straight over your head. They were trying to avenge Ra's death, Ra's pulled Bane out of the pit and therefore Bane felt that he owed it to Ra's to fullfill his destiny, not a plot hole, learn what a plot hole is. Tom Hardy's Bane was Nolan's interpretation of the character, I am sure you have seen several adaptations of previous works that have had things altered or changed, other than the early To tell you the truth I think in both franchises the second one is the best then the first and then the third is last. I think TS2 had the saddest scene with Jessie’s backstory, while Despicable Me 2 had the funniest scene which was the minion firefighter scene It was even worse in the book, the first thing he did after returning to Marseilles was reimburse Morrel who was going bankrupt but he then waited ten more years before putting his plan into motion which I guess makes sense because he would want to establish himself in society before doing anything so no one would be suspicious I’ve never actually seen the entire minion movie so I don’t count it as part of the despicable me franchise, the first two however are really good. As much as I love Woody and Buzz I gotta give this round to Gru and the Minions It wasn’t sad, it was cliched and corny, I was trying my hardest to keep myself from laughing. The movie was great until that ending. Toy story 2 is the best but in all honesty Despicable Me is a better trilogy than Toy Story. Die Hard is still a good film, however I felt that Lethal Weapon had a greater sense of danger and suspense and I just found the two lead characters more likable than McClane. Why? Jesse can’t handle anything except Do Woo music, he’s not a rock band he’s not hardcore and he isn’t cool Chill out it’s just a show and Michelle is a brat Sounds a lot better than the mindless nonsense we ended up with Yes, even though I did disagree with McCain on many things I would never denigrate his war record, he is an American hero. Rambo had no way of knowing that the whole operation was a sham, that scene just shows that Rambo doesn’t trust Murdock and it gives the audience the impression that things aren’t what they seem. If the OP had to endure 5 minutes of what McCain did he would be crying for his mother. You know as much as Christians enjoy preaching love and goodwill they have the potential to be very judgmental and bigoted, and I'm mostly talking about the ones who not only believe but openly state that you are going to hell simply for having different beliefs from them.
