I'm not sure what makes this such a good film, only to say that I've never met anyone who didn't like it.
I've seen it countless times & while it's not my usual genre there's just something compelling about the whole story and the acting makes it all feel so natural.
I think the reason it remains at the top is that appeals to such a wide range of viewers.
Mark ruffalo
Yes I did ... but I'd seen an episode of law & order svu about a week earlier with the same m subject. Still a good film though.
You should watch the original British version, there's 3 series and they are still great. I watched them about 3 years ago but first screened in mid 80's and early 90's.
Lol
Me neither. Not really into the Halloween franchise, it just jumped out at me as giving the plot away to people like myself who like to watch things with no idea what's about to happen ....
Hope You still enjoy it!
It was only delayed by one week though, wouldn't make too much difference.
You know about spoilers in your title right? ...
Medication plays a part too though doc.
I used to be on one head med where if I ate a more than a side plate of food I would throw up ... I mean out of nowhere , one mouthful too much and it would all come straight back out. I was underweight and still losing weight because of it.
Now I'm on different head meds where i tend to overeat ... once I start eating a meal I want more before I've even finished what's before me.
I do my best to control myself but I'm still overweight, but my head is in a stable place so I'm happy with that .
Lol, I agree
Yep, first one I thought of too
I agree, purposely ambiguous at The end. Good story otherwise but felt a bit of a let down tbh.
Thought it was gonna be his wife and black student in cahoots to frame him for past wrongs.
It did strike me though, when he and the student in his car at the end, when she said she lloves him he then strikes out and knocks her unconscious... a few scenes earlier we saw the missing white girl tell her she loves him in the same scenario ... so what to make of that?
Leaves it up to the viewer which I quite like ๐
Yeah i agree - not the best film I've seen .... all I remember of it is that sad little face !
Nicholas cage, he just always sounds like he is reading the script rather than acting.
I thought of Rosemary's Baby as soon as she spat out that little tealeaf from joan's cup, made me think of the tannis root. RB is a rewatchable film, this one not so much imo. Not that I didn't like it, just an acquired taste & definitely not for fans of saw/hostel and the like.
I bought some wrapping paper from the card shop today and they already have Christmas cards and 2019 calendars out for sale ๐
There is nothing that would make me run as fast as I can from a potential relationship than finding out he is a mummy's boy!
It's the most unattractive thing I can think of๐
Loving your mum is great .... having her control your life And being happy about it is not.
Agree.
Have just rewatched this and Lisa's speach about the dear caring what the hunter is wearing is still one of the best .
If you can overlook the numerous implausabilities it's an entertaining film. It's very similar to that Bruce Willis film Hostage.
If only there was a panic button to go with all that high end security ๐ค ... would have been a short film though ay. Just sayin' .
I've never heard of it but it sounds great. I'll look for it this evening. Thanks :)
