Probably, yes, She looked to be at least 100 yards away by the time he was in a position to fire.

Could it be “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”?
I couldn't begin to catalog them. If I'm alone, I will inexplicably tear up during songs that aren't even close to being sad. Music has always been like a cheat code into my emotions. Weird stuff.
I once read a book titled "This is Your Brain on Music", that delved into the neuroscience behind our emotional connection to music. Very interesting and I do recommend it to anyone who is interested in the topic.
Swap Matt Damon's characters from Good Will Hunting and The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Tom Ripley romances Skylar (Minnie Driver), but only to insinuate himself into her social circle. Then he proceeds to run every scam imaginable on her, her family and her friends. Scoops up the cash and disappears, leaving her heartbroken and bankrupt.
Will Hunting, while bashing in Freddy's (Philip Seymour Hoffman) skull with the stone bust of a Roman Emperor: "How do you like THEM apples!"
Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner
Tom and Jerry
Grease (1978) is another one. Great music too!
Such a sad story. And, yes, it defies conventional explanation.
Asa Butterfield’s acting career.
Lol sorry I gave you yet another horrible thing you can't forget! And thank you for posting the Shatner video. I sent it around to some of my buddies who are ST fans and they all had a good laugh.
If this was a Saturday Night Live skit, it would have been very funny! Since he was being serious, it's pretty sad.
And I thought Spock's music career was bad!

Lol, that was a fun movie.
I’m in the middle of a job search myself, so I can sympathize.
If you just sent in a resume, I don’t think you can expect a response. Sometimes there are hundreds of people who respond to an ad.
On the other hand, if you’ve actually been interviewed, I think you are owed a written answer. When I was responsible for hiring people, I always sent a personalized email to the candidates that I interviewed but didn’t hire.
Good luck to you.
I was a chronic truant. I doubt I ever attended a single full week of high school. Either I skipped first period, or last period, or left midday without returning, or just never made it in at all.
One day I skipped a class in the middle of the day with every intention of returning afterward. On my way out, I found 4 fellow students parked in a car right across the street (and I'm talking about a street that was only 30 feet wide, and easily visible from half of the school's windows) drinking beer from plastic Solo cups. These beautiful, crazy bastards had a full keg of beer in the trunk of the car.
Needless to say, I never made it back into the school building that day. 🍺
I loved the first few seasons of Dexter, but I found that it became formulaic in a way that Breaking Bad never did. Yet when it broke the formula in the later seasons, I liked it less and even skipped the final season altogether.
It's ranked somewhere in the middle of my list of Tarantino films. If you are a fan of his work, I think you will enjoy it.
I really loved Tombstone and agree that Russell was great in that.
He was good in Hateful 8 also, I thought. I think he was just following Tarantino's direction for the character.
Not really. I skipped Solo and I doubt I will even see Ep 9 in the theater. I just don't care to see what happens to the story in the final chapter. They really mucked it up between 7 and 8.
Nothing wrong with Daisy Ridley. She did a fine job with the character she was given by JJ and Kasdan, but that character...total Mary Sue. Rey's MarySueness is the pinnacle against which all future Sue's will be measured.
Yes, it's the worst. And I liked all of the actors! I consider myself a fan of Clooney, Arnold, and Uma.
