Agree with everything here. I would like to add that their def were SOME great episodes (before they got to Alexandria). After season 1, like many I was hooked, and I remember saying that HBO should have had this show.
He is def 1 of the greatest ever, it's just hard to say definitively that he's "the greatest ever." There are about 5-10 players who are all really close to that title.
