Didn’t alices stalker (can’t remener his name) say it was some type of computer virus when she goes to his hotel to get answers. The same hotel she finds him wackkng off in the bathroom to the “other Lola” while having a private video chat after knowing she [loLa IRL] was in the other room.
20. There’s absolutely no wind or breeze when standing on a boat hunting a Meg.
I think that was one of the most uncomfortable parts of the movie, IMO. The fact that I had no idea how old the daughter was, added to the mental state the mother was when sending her young daughter with social issues out to a party.
Did you end up seeing it? I had a friend dl it for me. I started it, but haven’t had time to watch more than a few minutes.
I have to check out Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Thanks for the recommendation;)
I finished & I did enjoy MANIAC.
It looks like he has a lot of extra skin on his neck from losing weight. His ears look bigger, and he has dark circles around his eyes.
He looks very tired, not sure if it’s the look he was going for in this series?
Wait till you see him in a curly mullet - reminds me of Adam Sandler for some reason lol.
It’s listed as a comedy on Netflix as well. I’m on episode 5, it’s definitely not a comedy. It’s more of a sci-fi/drama with moments of being a thriller and maybe some dark comic relief.
Saw it on Tuesday. I was actually blown away by how good it was. I was expecting something along the lines of “unfriended”. This was put together really well.
Tried to get into the early showing but couldn’t. Would you recommend going to the theatre to see it? I already bought tix for next week. Does your review contain spoilers CraigJames?
Exactly. And if someone had a hard time telling that he was the ring leader from start to finish, enjoying every second of it, then they might not be able to grasp what was going on. He’s clearly pushing his “friends” to do things they were not okay with doing, even if it was in the heat of the moment. And later killing his best friend, who later showed remorse whether it was sincere or for fear of being caught. Brett is a definition sociopath.
“The most incredible trait of a sociopath, is their complete lack of conscience, lack of empathy, remorse, guilt or shame. ... Sociopaths have no fear. They do not care what others think of them (unless it involves being exposed, which would affect their ability to con further).”
As well as a huge crucifix (cross)
Jersey girl here. Texas is amazing. I had the pleasure of visiting many times over the course of 4 years. The company I worked for was founded in a town north of Austin and we had our annual conference in different Texas cities every year. Austin is deff one of my favs! When people say it’s a different world from the North East, it’s not easy to imagine until you experience it.
Boy I gullible. Love the sarcasm <3
He wanted to finish her off. No remorse. Only fucks given were that he couldn’t end her
From the trailer it Looks like he enters another dimension. Or maybe even hell.
Came here to find reviews and see if I could get ahold of this. Looks like it will be in theatres Friday, Sept 14th 2018 - but will be showing on Thursday, Sept 13th 2018 in select theatres.
Just saw it tonight.
Very good point!
Exactly. Half the reason I made this post. Thought it would bring more attention to the weapons that are way more than 4 and below!!!
Absolutely! My bf & friends who have seen it continue telling me it’s not worth it. I’ve wanted to see it since I first saw the trailer. I’ve been putting it off, and I’m excited to watch it!
I’ve been on an insane movie binge for the past 5 years, this past year has been all about horrror, psychological thrillers, SCI fi.... after not being into any of the mentioned genres since the early 2000’s I had a lot of catching up to do!
I’ve pretty much seen everything worth watching in those genres + more (i think) - I’m always open to recommendations! Although I’ve had a very hard time finding *any* interest in the shiet they call “comedy” these days - and certaintly could do with more horror anthologies in general (which are my fav) but i look forward to watching mother!(alone) lol and will let you know what I think about it!
