About 33% liked the movie and 66% thought it was boring, weak script, and too long. Lots of political posts about the distributor, Angel Studios (who did not produce the movie).
The sequel, Dr. Phibes Rises Again, will be shown on Svengoolie on MeTV this Saturday November 16, 2024 at 8 PM ET/PT, 7 PM CT.

Kamala and her Communist advisors did not blackmail the celebrities to endorse her. They were PAID to appear with her. That came out almost as soon as she became the candidate. Steve Harvey and others were criticized for taking money to pretend to interview her.
Her campaign spent one BILLION dollars in three months, and Kamala was in hiding for two months, copying the Biden strategy from 2020!
They should open the campaign books to see where the money was spent. There was a rumor that Beyonce was paid $2 million to appear on stage with Kamala and endorse her. Sorry, no singing for that price!
She spent a record $1 Billion, far more than Trump, and stupidly borrowed $20 million. Her donors were idiots to give or lend that kind of money to such an ineffective candidate, a radical communist pathological liar, who could not win one delegate vote on her own.
The Democrat donors expected paybacks, since the Green New Deal scam put some $6 TRILLION dollars into ineffective projects. Billions for nine electric vehicle stations, and only two actually worked. The printing of money and borrowing was just to make payoffs through government contracts to Democrat donors for these projects. It caused inflation to soar from 1.5% under Trump to 9% under Biden-Harris.
What is disappointing is that, except for the swing states, which Trump flipped or otherwise won, the other traditional Democrat blue states did not flip.
Kamala was the most radical candidate ever nominated, a hateful, incompetent pathological liar, a Communist who wanted to be a dictator. She was most likely responsible for the lawfare that attacked Trump, Catholics, and anyone who disagreed with her. She had done that in California to hundreds or thousands of people. She lied about her radical positions, but there were plenty of videos to prove her lying. Yet Democrats in non-swing states still voted for her, like dutiful sheep.
Kamala's bigotry against Catholics, who make up 22% of the electorate, likely lost her the election. There were huge swings towards Trump by Catholics in the swing states. She sent Catholics to prison for merely praying outside abortion centers. She said there would be no religious exemptions for abortion until (and after) birth. She had no regard for the First Amendment rights to free practice of religion. She was the first Democrat in 40 years to skip the Al Smith dinner for Catholic Charities in New York City, where the candidates make jokes.

Trump came much closer than most Republicans in many traditional Democrat states, like Minnesota, New Jersey and others. But the money and visits were mainly in the swing states, and the other Democrat strongholds did not flip.

She will make lots of money on the speech circuit. Colleges that prevent free speech will welcome her and pay huge fees. She will sell them Kamala Koloring Books, to help them cope with living in a free country that they cannot order around.
When Trump and Musk spoke of it, Musk was going to help slash the cost and bureaucracy of government. Trump said early in the campaign that he wanted to eliminate the Department of Education, a shill for teachers' unions.
President Reagan wanted to cut government as well in 1981, but the Democrat control of Congress prevented that. Federal "Reduction In Force" did not really reduce the cost or number of federal employees. Employees were allowed to transfer or were given huge financial settlements. They would never get this in private industry.
During the Reagan era, the Department of Agriculture was bloated and had vast numbers of employees who were simply being paid to collect their big paychecks and do nothing all day. The Democrats prevented Reagan from eliminating Jimmy Carter's Department of Energy, whose employees were also doing basically nothing all day long. Their big projects were not cost effective, so there was no reason to throw money at them. Biden's similarly ineffective Green New Deal was the primary cause of inflation rising from 1.5% to 9% in one year. Billions were paid to Democrat donors. Reagan converted the Energy Department's function into another agency doing military work.
President Carter wanted to introduce "zero base budgeting" in 1977 to cut the federal bureaucracy. But the Democrat Congress, led by radical Senator Ted Kennedy, opposed him from cutting federal jobs and spending, which primarily benefited Democrats. Teddy ran against Carter in the Democrat primaries, and lost.
Unlike 2016, Trump did not appear for any of the Republican primary debates. He won all the primaries easily. Yet, except for the former New Jersey governor, Chris Christie (who was bitter about not being named Attorney General by Trump in 2017), his Republican opponents all strongly supported his candidacy and repeatedly spoke on his behalf as surrogates.
I don't recall an election cycle where defeated primary opponents gave more than lip service to the victor.
Hillary was drunk and began hitting her campaign manager on the chest with her fists. She arrogantly thought she had the election in the bag. The media and nearly all pollsters all agreed with her.
A large percentage of the country hated and mistrusted her. She had a long association with being sleazy, and everyone knew that Bill Clinton cheated on her every chance he got.

Fox News just called Pennsylvania for Trump with 94% counted, giving him 267 electoral votes. Alaska is an automatic 3 votes, and he's ahead there with 18% lead after 26% counted. He wins the election with 270 electoral votes
So AtlasIntel once again looks like the most accurate pollster for 2024. Trump leads in all the swing states yet to be called. It looks like 312 electoral votes for Trump, my prediction.
Republicans gain control of the Senate, and may hang onto the House of Representatives.
