Confirmed by Reddit thread dedicated for this purpose. Read it for reviews by those who actually saw it.

Many posted that they walked out. Some hoped to see Nickel Boys, a movie about Jim Crow racism (i.e., all white people are evil.).

About 33% liked the movie and 66% thought it was boring, weak script, and too long. Lots of political posts about the distributor, Angel Studios (who did not produce the movie).
