Agreed, it's time for a black Hitler
Wokewashing is the worst by far
Easily the worst of the supposed Christmas classics
Makes you want to stand up and beg for buttermilk
It was fairly solid, way better than Julia Ormond or Jeanne Tripplehorn

2020
It brought back 3D briefly (remember that fad?), the inflated ticket prices helped
AUJ was definitely superior, it spent time on world-building, set-up and establishing character - which is precisely why the ADHD phone-checking critics don't like it as much. Too much "talking and fantasy", they need them their video game cutscenes. Also, many reviewers liked that DoS had more women in it because empowerment, which foreshadowed how simplistic the factors for a "good movie" in the eyes of "critics" would become.
You think this is the real Quaid?
It is.

Like mother like children, at some point the kids became suicidal I guess. Basically the movie was dumb and there was no convincing way to angle this concept. It was mostly an exercise in visual atmosphere, unbalanced compositions, symmetry, tight frames to long shots, etc, rather than just endless moronic jump scares. A few more bathroom scenes with Riley Keough would have been more effective though.
The-ron Hubbard got both barrels there, second line don't miss
Yes, especially the "Hobbit" "films", like the rest of the Earth
Aye, a dolled up simpleton of a film. It reminds me of a Giallo, will be overrated and a "cult classic" in time, they ignore poor scripts and inexplicable characters as well.
Scaled models and a marionette rig
According to Miriam Margoyles he also farted on her face between takes
This was an accurate prediction, even Russian reviewers call it one of the worst movies ever made. It's well lit, has competent VFX and the action staging is better than Marvel, but the screenplay is toilet paper and the acting far worse than the nightmares of Hilary Duff. Female Nick Fury is nothing more than an exposition tool, who stands around looking forlorn while protagonists drop backstory lol. Marvel was lucky its TV directors got their act together for the last major arcs.
It has the hallmarks of a movie butchered by producers in the edit room with the disjointedness, although given the incomprehensible and infantile script, there probably wasn't much to work with anyway. It's an embarrassingly bad movie, which ranks it slightly above Justice League.
Yet she won her only oscar playing one
She's a fraud, but not in the sense you meant
