Its pure fantasy that he would go to prison. People are saying because he didn´t get in the car that he was somehow guilty but the three guys waited for him to come out and then confronted him, I don´t think him not getting in the car makes much difference. In addition one of them pulls a knife on him. No chance he goes to prison in real life.
1. -Cy!...Anara...
2. The "define irony" line
3. That´s a rock.
She divorced in ´68 and remarried and had a kid in ´70. I remember somewhere she wanted to focus on having a family. She had a bunch of miscarriages throughout her career, Im sure that affected her mentally.
I mean the whole good guy turns bad has been done ad nauseum, so I kind of don´t scrutinize it when its been so overdone as a plot device.
And it seems to be news to you that humour is subjective. It may be "awful" but my opinion is at least still shared by the vast majority...
Sorry, I didn´t know it was a crime not to share the same opinion. You do realise that humour is subjective right?
One of what people?
He wasnt sure it was him, he shouted it to see if it was him...
There´s a few particular grievances I have with season one. I really dislike the animation as well as Homer´s voice, which sounded like a bad Walter Matthau impression. The French bowler episode I don´t particularly like nor find funny, that said season 1 still beats season 10 and beyond in a heartbeat, although I have to disagree that Season 3 has only two great episodes. Personally, I don´t think season one has any great episodes and would be surprised if any has made a best episode list but of course that´s just my opinion.
1 and 2 better than 3. Now thats interesting especially 1. I actually can barely get a laugh when I rewatch season one.
Classics from 3 include, TOH 2, Flaming Moe´s, Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk, Radio Bart, Bart the Lover and the aforementioned Homer at the bat. Overrated maybe but definitely still funny.
Its excellent, alot of classic eps in s3 and def the start of the golden era.
It was either him, Affleck or DiCaprio but Maguire was the one who frequented the games the most apparently.
Which part? I remember that was around the time Jack, Kate and Sawyer were imprisoned at the Hydra station
I always assumed youngest he could be in 1955 was 35, a very old looking 35 lol.
Can you elaborate on where in S2 they put forth that idea? I never got that from s2 but maybe I missed something.
I dont like that idea, it cheapens the character, and its kind of a kick in the face to fans to have someone as a good guy suddenly become bad. I never watched the tv show so it never bothered me that Jim went bad, I think the film series is a reboot of the show anyway, not something that should be considered canon as far as the tv show is concerned, but to have a long film series of over 20 years, and have Hunt turn bad would suck imo. As much as I think Cruise plays a great bad guy, he kinda did it in MI2 when he was the acting as the villain wearing a mask of Hunt.
I had to load up the scene on netflix, cos I made this comment a while ago. When they´re loading up the fake list, which Hunt advises them not to do, Kittridge shows up after they disappear and says " the man has gone black, Hunt is a ghost, we taught him how to do it" etc. My question was why did Kittridge expect to see Hunt trying to boot up the list, when Hunt already knew the list was fake?
Ive rewatched MI1 many times, I actually think it has gotten better with age. I remember not thinking that much of it when I saw it in the theaters. Its more of a spy film than the rest which I appreciate more, its more serious in tone too which sets it apart from the others as well especially after Simon Pegg joined the series. The 2nd film is the absolute worst imo by a fair margin.
