Excellent description and I completely agree. Btw, sorry I'm so late to the party. Just recently found this site. Who did he play? Its not ringing a bell for whatever reason. I can't remember verbatim, but in the episode when Jamie makes one of her cameos after she'd left the show, (in the episode with Judge Wolinski,) she gives testimony about how being in the DA's changed her views after seeing how zealous and overworked prosecutors could be. That coupled with her statements about how final the dp was what made me understand her vast shift in her stance. Never caught that before! Perfect description of Curtis. And I personally think she staged the first assault in Stalked, mostly because of the garbage bag lie. The Hot Pursuit outcome makes me upset every time I watch it. She was so intent on rebelling she didn't care about the her sentence. She cut off her nose to spite her face. Love Amanda Peet, though. I read back when that episode aired that Dick Wolf's wife didn't like the look and "made" it happen. I think he suspected but couldn't be sure. You'd think if he knew she brought down Wennerstrom AND took most of his money, he'd fall hard for her and end up with her in the end. Completely agree with everything you said! 10/10 I thought that she made the call to signal that they were ready to go ahead with the plan and then when she hung up, the reality of both the impeding prison time and her addiction set in and overwhelmed her. I also thought that when she called the assistant in the middle of the night and said, 'so Socrates never wrote anything down?' was when the plan was hatched. So basically the assistant was waiting on confirmation via the phone call.
