I'm thinking about the big bad guys. Kings. Presidents. Politicians. Generals who lead their men to slaughter women and children. That sort of thing.
In the modern world, it's almost unheard of that they DON'T get away with it.
Bad guys almost always get away with it in real life. I don't mind TV shows portraying that part accurately.
TV has plenty of reruns/syndication. I was born in the 80s, but I grew up watching things like "I Love Lucy" and "The Andy Griffith Show". How old a person is doesn't necessarily influence the TV they watch.
George-Michael
I hope you're right. The show would almost certainly be a bust. Wouldn't get a 2nd season.
Anyway, I was slightly excited about the Charmed reboot until I read this: "Together they possess the "Power of Three", which they use to vanquish supernatural demons and tear "down the patriarchy."
Jesus Christ. Just stop.
I struggle to finish each episode because I don't enjoy watching it. I can watch a good show on Netflix for 12 hours straight. Has nothing to do with patience.
Apparently Gabriel and Lucifer have no idea either... Didn't they help god create the entire universe? How do they not know this shit?
For $40,000 a day, they better let me take Dolores home with me.
Only one? I've spotted about 50.
He's been trapped in Lucifer's cage since the end of season 5, and because this show has pretty bad writers, we haven't seen him since.
Either that or she ended up joining them, but her kids refused or something.
The tree and the rabbit are the only Guardians characters that don't make me want to walk out of the theater.
"Easier" has nothing to do with it. He now has infinite power, infinite means infinite. It would have taken him the exact same amount of effort to make resources more abundant or even infinite.
He killed people because he likes killing people.
Loved season 01, that was just good, solid entertainment. I haven't enjoyed a single second of season 02 yet.... I actually have to struggle to finish each episode. I don't know that the hell these writers think they're doing.
Answered your own question... she didn't "run away" because she wanted to be there.
From what I can tell, no TV show or movie in history has ever been free from social/political propaganda. Makes sense, since if you do the research into the history of the industry and the technology itself, it was all created for the express purpose of pushing propaganda and shaping ideologies.
It was mind control from its very inception... not that you can't be entertained by it. They DO try to make it entertaining... because it's all pointless if people don't want to watch it.
The reality is far worse than this movie depicts and likely far, far worse than you would ever imagine.
Yeah Carl died. They made an entire episode about it.
The idea is that he's the first of many. A prototype. A test run. There are supposed to be many more to follow.
