Strange, I enjoyed them both. Wouldn't call either of them a masterpiece, but they're both decent movies, at the least.

Seems like they're turning this into some sort of Supernatural thriller. That thing clearly isn't a regular bear.

Well, I just finished episode 9, and I thought the show was superb.
I wanna see the show end by fast forwarding 50 years into the future, showing people slowly rebuilding civilization. Maybe in 50 years they're building railroads and steam engines again like in the 1800s, and setting up trade routes with other, newly formed countries with big sail boats, kinda giving the vibe that civilization and technology just repeats itself in an infinite loop.
Killing Carl was just a financial decision. They were underpaying him for years, but since he finally turned 18, they would have to give him a contract and pay him full wages, no more slave labor. So they killed him off.
Ivanka isn't a baseball bat, she's a crossbow, carried by a dwarf named Varric.
Wouldn't bother me to see her and Michonne leave. When it really gets down to it, this is a show about Rick Grimes and as long as he's there, they still have a show.
Buffy has superpowers, it makes sense that she can do the things she does. She isn't human. Logical consistency is what matters to me, I don't care what mythical universe the show is set in. If a 90lb woman can overpower a room full of large men, I expect every 90lb woman in that mythical universe to be able to bench press 300 pounds minimum.
They could at least have large butch women playing the parts. It's just so stupid when a 90lb super model can easily overpower 300lb men because of girl power.
It only bothers me when it's extremely forced and unrealistic. A 100lb woman is never going to walk into a room and beat the tar out of 3 large burly men. I don't care how strong and juiced up on "girl power" she is. Has never, and will never happen anywhere outside of Hollywood-land.

Well, women do age faster than men. True, you can tell she isn't a young woman any more... but she's still sexually attractive. I'd bang the shit out of her. Just saying.
Have to agree... That's a boy's face if I've ever seen one. Not at all attractive.
It had nothing to do with trolls, they simply couldn't afford to keep them running. Cost them a lot of money.
In the beginning of the Hellraiser franchise, the Cenobites weren't demons and their dimension wasn't "hell". They were extra-dimensional sadomasochistic beings who enjoyed pain, and saw no difference between pain and pleasure. They actually thought they were doing the humans they dragged into their dimension a service, letting them taste of their "pleasures".
In a sense, they were just aliens, that from a human perspective, would seem like demons. Of course, as we all know, eventually the lore changed and now, they are demons, their dimension is hell, and their purpose is to punish the wicked.
I much prefer thinking of them as aliens. Much more interesting.

Beauty standards change. Back in the 80s, she would have been considered far more attractive than she would now. The clothes and hair look like something you would see on an elderly woman now. Back then, different story.
I mean, there was a time where the average man would have found the sight of a woman's shaved pubis disgusting and reminiscent of a young girl. I'm reminded of the scene in Billy Bob Thornton's "Sling Blade" where the middle aged man describes his preference for hairy women. Now? Like I said before, different story. Things change.
If you were a young man back when this movie came out, you would have looked at her like a german shepherd looks at a pork chop.
