Guess you never heard of the Resident Evil franchise.
"you have an issue with diversity"....
Is always the false slander thrown about by the idiot left when confront with the completely legitimate complaints about race-washing.
I don't have an issue with diversity, I have an issue with forced diversity for virtue signaling which does nothing to further the story and in fact often hurts it
There was zero need to make Sarah black.
You already have Reilly, Marlene, Henry and Sam.
Sarah is White.
Joel and Tommy are White.
But it seems there is a concerted effort nowadays to erase White males from reality.
Joel and Tommy are now Hispanic. Joel's daughter is somehow Black instead of also Hispanic.
Bill is still a white male. But Bill's gay.
Tess is White but she's female.
The only white males to remain in the game are the ones who are clearly evil like David.
That's not diversity. That's a deliberate agenda.
Your post says more about your mental illness that it does about Chris Pratt.
You are just one of the many absolutely unhinged and delusional extreme left.
Latino/Hispanic is an Ethnicity, not a race. Many Latinos are white.
Look at just about any form that tracks such things (Like the US Census for example)
The Choice are
Hispanic (White)
Hispanic (Non-White)
58% of Hispanics consider themselves White. (Pew research)
Oberyn Martell of Dorne has to escort Lady Lyanna of House Mormont across Essos as she is immune to Greyscale and the key to a cure.
Sorry, I just Binged GoT.
<blockquote>isn't it just a moon sized world?</blockquote>
You got that backwards. It is a world sized moon.
There is no size requirement between moons and planets. No scale that says above this size it is a planet, below that size it is a moon. The only thing is that a Moon is going to be smaller than the planet it orbits. but it may be larger than some other planet. Saturn's moon, Titan, is larger than the planet Mercury.
Pandora is a moon of a Gas Giant, Polyphemus, much like Jupiter. It is more than capable of having a moon nearly the size of Earth. Pandora is about 75% the size of Earth, but with about 80% of its gravity.
So was the original Avatar. It was filmed in 3D not converted into 3D.
The 3D is the same in both films.
Honestly it was one of the things I was somewhat disappointed in. James Cameron is well known for pushing the boundaries of what is possible in filmmaking, inventing whole new technologies for the filmmaking art. He did so with Avatar. But after 14 years between sequels... The film technology that went into Avatar: The Way of Water, is exactly the same as Avatar.
It's still great. don't get me wrong. There is nothing bad about it at all. But you'd think that waiting 14 years, he would have done something to "up the game"
There is no need to go so far as talking about immaculate conceptions at all.
What we know. vs speculation.
1) The Avatar is alive, but has no "driver" as Grace died in the first film.
2) The Avatar was pregnant and eventually gave birth to Kiri, who was adopted by Jake and Ney'tiri.
3) The Father is unknown.
Now just because the father is unknown does not mean there is no father. You don't have to speculate any further than apparently and obviously Grace did have sex with someone while using her avatar. Probably another avatar driver with a male avatar. Grace, Norm, and Jake were not the only avatars on Pandora. We saw many whom were never introduced and were never seen but for a scene or two as the film focused on Grace, Jake, and Norm. Recall when Jack had his first experience driving his avatar and he ran outside... he ran past several avatars playing basketball and there were other avatars at the bunkhouse as they bedded down for the night and unlinked from their avatars. And again you saw several avatars in the scene where the RDA humans were being kicked off planet. Any one of them could be the father.
Spoilers...
<spoiler> Jake and Neytiri's adopted daughter, Kiri... Was born of Dr. Grace Augustine's Avatar. It is not revealed in film how the Avatar was impregnated. The father remains unknown. Grace died. The Avatar body still lives in suspension. The simplest explanation is that Grace had sex using her Avatar with another male avatar before the events where she died. There are numerous other Avatars that we caught only glimpses of in the first film that were never introduced or seen again, like those playing basketball outside when Jake first goes into his avatar, or those in the bunkhouse later that evening before lights out.
I agree on all points. The entire killer Chimp subplot could be removed entirely as it didn't have one single damned thing to do with the Movie. I kept waiting to see how that was supposed to tie in., It never did.
Peele needs to stick with short comedy skits. Feature Films is not his forte.
Overall the Film was a great film idea that was horribly done in the creation.
It wasn't a Prison at that Time. GITMO didn't house the Special Security Prison for captured terrorists at that time. This was well before 9/11.
jezz guy, just stfu already. you are just trying to shoe the square peg into a round hole.
Because ONLY IRAN has Tomcats.
Because ONLY IRAN has a desire to still try to acquire nuclear enrichment for weapons (Russia already has it)
And While Russia has the Felon, it's not beyond reasoning that in the near future that Iran may get some from Russia.
And Iran does have green woods and snow capped mountains. it isn't all desert.
It says they are Su-57s right in the film, great detective work there.
<eyeroll>
"And the long list goes on and on and on and on and onand on and onand on and on."
like your mental illness
GOP wants nothing of the sort, how about you stop with your false strawman bullshit
damn you are retarded. "Long live {insert whoever}" is not unique to Nazi Germany.
"The Queen is dead, Long Live the King"
We Conservative Hate the Nazis with a passion. We hate just as much the false accusations from the left of being Nazis even as the left keep acting like Nazis.
Hell AntiFa is practically the left's Sturmabteilung.
It's a common thing seen across multiple professions.
Law Enforcement hate most police dramas, but love Reno 911 and Supertroopers.
Nurses and Doctors hate most Hospital dramas, but loved Scrubs.
Navy hates The Last Ship and Last Resort, but love Down Periscope.
A Drama takes itself seriously, so when they get things wrong, especially when they get things blatantly wrong... It stands out as bad to those in the profession.
A Comedy doesn't take itself seriously and isn't expected to be realistic in every respect, the humor then often accentuates (in an overblown caricature of reality) the truth of things that are known to those who've lived the life.
some, mostly no.
Mostly he was spot on.
Taken in general, not specific to the situation of the film... just generally speaking regarding A Military Serviceman vs some bitching civilian whining about the military... He is exactly right.
<blockquote>"Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom.
You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall -- you need me on that wall.
We use words like "honor," "code," "loyalty." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it.
I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you're entitled to!"</blockquote>
As far as what happened regards to Pvt Santiago... he was completely in the wrong.
Trolls gotta troll
