Because people are driven by nostalgia to watch a remake of a film they grew up with.
Kim seemed to be the most genuine. Her extended interview was certainly the most interesting and informative to me.

Samantha Barks would have been a good Belle imo. If this movie were made about ten years earlier I'd say Emmy Rossum.
Unfortunately, Julie Andrews can't sing any more. Otherwise she would have been a great Mrs. Potts.

Both played him very differently. Benson's Beast is like a socially awkward kid trying to navigate his first relationship while Stevens is more worldly and cynical. However, the CGI used for Stevens' beast was horrible.
