As a faceless man. "Speak a name. I might not know who they are, but I will find them and then I will kill them"
I wished they kept Ian McShane around longer.
Yeah, stay off youtube and twitter or just go incognito mode. If you click a few youtube videos about the show, leaked clips will start popping up in the related videos. I ended up watching it because I got tired of constantly blocking channels and feeds. All I'll say is if you know nothing about the plot beyond the official promo, keep it that way. This particular episode is a big one, and you want to take it in all at once. It is still going to be awesome to see on the big screen Sunday night, and the internet is going to be lit up like wildfire.
Cersei probably won't do anything to him directly, because the actors won't appear in scenes together. They could get around that through editing, but more likely he joins Tyrion and Jaime doesn't try to stop him. Tyrion would pay him double, and he would no longer have to fight against the dragons.
The whole feudal system could be abandoned in the end. Or at least the monarchy.
The symbol on the Night King's chest is basically an instruction manual on how to kill him.
LOL yeah, I'd go watch this on IMAX.
Ravens are smart and very resourceful. They could have developed radio technology while the humans were too busy killing each other to notice.
Each one this season has topped the previous episode. This one makes Hardhome look like a dress rehearsal.
Looks like it came from an official (accidental?) airing, episode 4 was a workprint that probably came from the hack. I remember when the first 4 episodes for season 5 leaked. Then everyone was sad because they had to wait a month for a new one. And still a shitload of people watched them during the regular air time.
GRRM probably gave them a blueprint with a stopping point, but they had a set number of episodes to get there. And whatever parts they are having to skip over will be in the books.
She gets angry a lot more this season. The thing she does with her eyes is part of her angry face. Her gait is the same as it's always been, we just see it a lot more this season with the extended wide shots. It is similar to Cersei in the "Long Walk" promo.
I thought Jorah might die doing something heroic, but he probably needs a couple scenes with Jon first. One so Jorah can learn more about his father, two so Jon can learn more about Dany. Jorah is the only one with roots in The North who can give his perspective, and Jon is already starting to trust her.
Davos' son is as much to blame as Tyrion. He was all gung ho for the fire cult and would have been OK if Davos was burned at the stake. Nonetheless, Davos tried to convince him that Melisandre was bad news and he should not to go to the battle because he would probably die. Davos cared for him, but at the same time he was old enough to make his own decisions.
There was some time that passed after the battle. If Jaime had died, word would have gotten out.

Some people need to see what the dragons can do because warning them just isn't enough to fully comprehend the threat. Same with the White Walkers.
They work on this show year-round, while most other shows get 3-6 months before the next season production begins. One of them said last year that they originally committed to 70 episodes and they were treating it like a 70-hour movie, but they eventually realized that it would take more than 70 to finish the story, so they expanded to 73. The silver lining is that the runtimes of the remaining episodes are going to be longer.
He's got king's blood.
They did the same with Olenna and the sand snakes last season. So many comments about how annoying they were and she tells them STFU and let the grown women talk.
I think they wanted to keep Jessica Henwick's character. She said they had plans for her into this season, but her schedule was not so great now that she's doing multiple projects with Marvel (a nice way of saying she asked to be written off the show). They had to fly her in on her off day for the sea battle scenes.
