Anne Hathaway as the main villain just does not fit, huge miscast... And the CGI looks horrible.
Its basically another movie pushing feminist bullshit. Sherlock Holmes, someone considered the best detective in fictional history, is put down as "useless", so his made up sister (he never had one in the original books), suddenly can do better! If they were smart they would have made it so he is out of the country on a job or something. But nooooo, gotta put down the men to lift the women up so they look stronger! WTF is wrong with having a female lead, be stronger on her own and NOT make all the men look like weaklings.
So far the only show we got on the Korean War is M.A.S.H and even though it had its serious moments, it was mainly a comedy. The Korean War is basically the forgotten war, i can't even think of a single AAA Hollywood movie that takes place in the Korean War.
Just because they were the top, does not mean they are the best, it caused more damage than it did.
One thing you have to agree on, is that cutting down and burning trees is not a good way to get renewable energy.
There is a double standard though, i think both races should not be allowed to use the word.
Who the hell thought that Ewan McGregor would be a good choice for a comicbook villian? There's nothing really that makes me go, yeah, i wanna see this movie. Especially seeing the main story evolves around a stupid diamond?
Because this movie is barely being hyped, if i didn't see Margot Robbie at Hot Ones, i never even knew the movie was out.
Oddly enough they had been used many times as security in the music world back than, even still in the 70's, it's ironic how they were hired to prevent rape and murder but caused half it it them self eventually
I liked it, the only thing that irked me, and this happens in EVERY movie that is set in a certain era, is that they go overboard with the music, clothing and the technology from that era. Like it's 1969 mostly in that movie, but you hear songs from the early 60's just because they are really popular. Also clothing that was out of date in 1969 already. I hate when they do this in movies only just to make it appear like it's the ultra 60's!
Especially now with movies that are set in the 90's, the era i grew up in, i see stuff where i go, "this was not in fashion in the late 90's!"
But beside that, i really liked the movie, Tarantino has a different style in creating his movies that i like, it's not like the rest where everything has to be fast shots, fast action and one liners.
Yes, 4 people died at that concert: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altamont_Free_Concert
The Altamont Free Concert incidents left a big nasty stain on the hippie culture, it showed the drugged insanity of the movement. From the Altamont Free Concert wiki: While Woodstock represented "peace and love", Altamont came to be viewed as the end of the hippie era and the de facto conclusion of late-1960s American youth culture: "Altamont became, whether fairly or not, a symbol for the death of the Woodstock Nation."
there is a difference between accusations that were brought up so Hillary could try and win versus actually getting prosecuted for it. As soon as Hillary lost the election those accusations were never heard of again. And than we have the "Presumption of innocence" aka "innocent unless proven guilty".
Its strange indeed, if she was able to walk around freely and get out of her "prison cell", something i am sure she lied about, i would just find a new place to lock her in.
He's even dumber to instantly sleep with that maid, that girl had trouble written all over her, like Ivar's dead wife.
She made a huge mistake by going away from Kattegat and setting up a homestead somewhere miles away and also to bury her sword, especially after Bjorn exiled the remaining men of Ivar. Got the feeling they will kill her off this season.
The cartel owns everything and knows everything, the second he came in a Mexican hospital with a drugged up hooker with a mark on her face, they would be there in minutes.
Carol stood there, in the opening of a field, with a bow in her hands, with Alpha on the other side, and than she decides to run after her. *facepalm*
She said weapons, so i think just small weaponry, maybe a machine gun.
What makes it a children show for you actually? Cause children shows don't have a lot of violence.
