that was uncharacteristically stupid of Carol

And now I am guessing Negan and Lydia are going to save them.

I just hope they don't drag this war to Season 11.

Yeah, that would be really bad. If Michonne is getting some super-weapons now, the Whisperers have to be dealt with now, otherwise I don't know what they are planning to do for the next 8 episodes.

She said weapons, so i think just small weaponry, maybe a machine gun.

I think (or hope) it's something better than that if it's a military base.

She's so consumed with hate and anger at this point that she's not thinking straight. She hasn't been the same since Henry's death.

But I mean this is Carol, the same Carol who single-handedly saved the gang from the cannibals at Terminus (and don't forget that by then she lost her real daughter Sophia), but oh well.

I know what you mean but I think in the first few seasons, her losses made her stronger and more able to cope with everything she had to go through in this apocalypse. I know, she was a dynamo!

Then, she got very comfortable with the King and Henry and was very happy - something she hadn't been in a long time. Losing Henry, IMO, was so devastating to her that it changed her. Initially I couldn't understand why she ended her relationship with the King but others mentioned that losing Henry was just too much for her.

I think she'll probably return to normal after more time goes by and, especially, once Alpha is taken out. Hopefully in a slow, painful way 😊

You're right. Being with Ezekiel made her soft.

reply

it didn't make her soft. It allowed her to regain her humanity.
