Yeah that’s actually very true.
Interesting. I look forward to seeing him further develop his version of the character.
I hope you’re right. I would love for a properly done Mr. Freeze to be the main villain in this movie.
Otis, as in the character played by Ned Beatty in the first two Christopher Reeve Superman films?
I would say Captain Marvel (aka Shazam), who I think was only in one episode.
It was also great to see Hal Jordan, extremely brief as it was. I wish he could have had a bigger part.
Finally! I really want to see him battle The Hulk though.
I suppose that could work.
I feel like Hush would be too similar to the way they did The Riddler in the last movie. Ventriloquist could be cool as a secondary or side villain, but probably not the main antagonist.
I would love to see a properly done live action Mr. Freeze as a serious and tragic character, just like in the 90’s animated series.
I thought the 2005 film and its sequel were pretty dumb but still kind of fun. The cast was pretty spot on for the most part, especially Michael Chiklis as The Thing and Chris Evans as Human Torch. They nailed it.
And I’d rather watch both of those silly cheesefests than the dreadfully boring and depressing 2015 version any day.
Yeah, that was a bit of a tease.
I do enjoy the live action Justice League movie (especially the director’s cut), but this animated series version is obviously better in every way.
1. Batman
2. Superman
3. Wonder Woman
4. The Flash
5. Green Lantern
6. Martian Manhunter
7. Hawkgirl
I thought the trailer looked great. I’m really looking forward to seeing the movie.
Yeah it’s quite surprising how many people don’t remember this show. It’s not as good as the 90’s animated series in my opinion, but I’ve always loved it.
Yeah, good point. Well the reply above this one and the next post underneath of it gave pretty valid explanations that make sense.
I guess he wanted to basically change Earth into a new Krypton, and use the birthing matrix to repopulate the planet and restore his nearly extinct alien species.
I completely agree, I prefer this version overall but I absolutely despise the ending. There was no reason that he had to do that at all. It was just as stupid in the first film too. Actually, it’s even worse here because it means that basically the entire movie didn’t happen now.
Also, why did he feel the need to destroy his fortress of solitude first? Didn’t he just undo that when he spun the earth the opposite way and reversed time? Was Lex Luthor still inside it when he did that? Makes no sense.
I would have liked it better if Lois had just continued to know the truth that he was secretly Clark. No need for the silly memory wiping kiss that makes no sense or the equally ridiculous time reversal earth spin.
It’s definitely up there.
That would be great if Brainiac was the main villain this time around. It would be nice to finally see a Superman villain other than Lex Luthor and Zod in a live action movie. I would also love to eventually see Metallo, Parasite, and Bizarro.
