Imagine starting your criticism with "racism against Pakistanis"........... Lol I fucking hate libtards.... I bet you were triggered there was no strong black transgender of color in the show or something... I already did, the thing is just like you don't give a fuck about certain kinds of people I don't give a fuck about you either. Retard. B A S E D Maybe watch the rest of the show to have the answer to your question? Such retardation... There are valid criticisms of the show but this "omg why X happen, I must know NOW" 50iq drivel is not one of them... why would anyone give a fuck about you if you dont give a fuck about them? It's unfortunate but it's the world we live in. Not being familiar with the source content, I can still feel there is plenty of interesting ideas in there. Obviously we must have le diversity but that's just how it is these days. That's not even to say the actors are bad I think they do a good job but it's just obvious that there is a bunch of ideology shoved in. Yea me too. Feels like a teenager movie. Yea this movie was pretty bad, just got around to watching it. Funny if you're a teenager I guess. I have been here from day 1 when imdb comments went down, thank you. You assume and project a lot, not even worth addressing because you're clearly not replying to what I said but to what you imagine I think. I don't have problem with women or poc on the screen as long as it's done properly, which it almost never is these days. Watch for example the first Predator and how Arnold's and Dillon's handshake has survived as a meme to this very day and you will see an anti-racism message done properly if that's your thing. Because they were not trying or at least it doesn't look like it. Writers are so worried about signaling that they're PC that they prioritize that over the plot. That was my critique, not whatever you are imagining. What a bunch of nonsense. Be less black. You should be less black. Imo when people imagine the afterlife I think they have an idealized concept of something like the garden of Eden where you're hanging out with your loved ones. Kind of how they end up here, all together by the river. The idea of being an orange blob in a cloud of light is not appealing whatsoever. Maybe this is what real transcendence looks like, and "God" was just tricking them by saying it's not forever so that they wouldn't get bored. 4d chess? I could help her burn those calories if you know what I mean Just goes to show how the whole concept is ridiculous. We all know deep down that this kind of "transcendence" means to stop being who you are which is an undesirable outcome anyways. So why would anyone want to "transcend"? They would be much happier living life as they were, with their friends. This whole ending was very poorly thought out imo. One of the main strengths of the show is the emotional rollercoaster and that's what they wanted you to feel with that death. Sure it could have been done better but I think the idea to insert some tragedy was alright, not like Bellamy had much more development to look forward to. The transcendence and the Judge (aka God) don't make any sense in their motivations whatsoever but it makes sense for the show to take this king of gamble I guess. The mind drives that store consciousness were a very interesting idea, along with some other ones. As usual, these shows struggle to find satisfactory endings but it's a fine one I suppose. Well yea I guess. Hard to argue with that one! It makes no sense to judge a whole species by one individual, it makes no sense to change your mind and think said species is ready for transcendence just because they avoided one conflict. Nothing about the motivations and actions of these Gods make any sense to begin with. That's never been the strong part of the show anyways. Nooooo not a good ending!! Don't watch it if you don't like it, stop spreading your misery everywhere else.
