Episode one is a bona fide classic. It was originally written as a screenplay by Michael Crichton in 1974.
Incorrect on so many levels
Not really, it was a bit crap, some good bits but lots of duff. A missed opportunity to speak to each of them as individuals.

The best stuff was the rebuilding of the sets, and especially the interviews with the producers.
I'd have really liked more insightful, individual interviews with each actor so you learned something new about their life during the show and afterwards.
They're always presented in this slab of six people repeating the same light-hearted anecdotes.

Many newspapers investigate crimes not previously pursued by the police and the courts.
History has proven that serial sex pests in power positions, routinely get away with it because the victims feel powerless, and don't believe the court system would support a single complaint. Plus they're worried about losing their own job.
Weinstein and Clarke were only caught after thorough investigations by reputable newspapers The NY Times and The Guardian. This is hardly trial by tabloid.
Sadly, in your perfect world these people would still be sexually abusing women. But if you can live with that, that's your choice.

I'm at series 3, episode 4. It's on Alibi in the UK at the moment.
James is a poorly realised character with no apparent redeeming qualities, and a wooden actor to boot. I hope he buggers off soon. Fern is still irritating.
The other characters are still great though.
