While I do not quite agree with your assessment I'm also not too impressed.
They treated him well, not at all like the Steve to Lynda Carter 's Wonder Woman. She was always rescuing him. In the movie, she did rescue him at the beginning but that's pretty much it. They were more like partners.
I agree, too many any of these super hero movies. I have skipped a few myself and rarely go to the theater. If you're being choosy I do recommend Wonder Woman.
First of all, he wasn't a "damsel" anything since he's not a woman.
Second, how is it possible for you to discuss a movie you haven't seen and have no intention of seeing?
I downloaded the digital movie sight unseen as I rarely go to the theater. So worth it! I'm halfway through the second time and it keeps getting better.
Gal Gadot is Jewish, Diana (Wonder Woman) is not. Do I need to provide the definitions for "actors" and "roles"?
Maybe you should pick the movies you go to more discreetly. "Wonder Woman" is a fantastic movie and millions of people agree with me. You don't find bad moves with that high of a tomato meter.
Perhaps it's the genre you don't like. Maybe the source material. Whatever the case you should stop wasting your time and money on movies you probably know in advance you won't like.
A demi-god/Amazon does not have to appear muscular in order to kick ass, it's genetic.
Well, she is half God (daughter of Zeus) and half immortal (mother is Amazon) so her talents are pretty !
Being a God, he can take any form he wants. Being in the form of an elderly, disabled man suited his needs. I personally don't care what other roles a actor plays. And yes, I think they cast him to make it harder for the audience to figure it out. It even had his sister fooled!
How nice to have an anti-Semitic Nazi in our midst! Jerk.
I've been watching this and looking for someone who would like to discuss.
I only watch it on Netflix. They have all 6 episodes of series 19. Have you considered signing up for the streaming service? Or do they have it where you live? I'm ready now to start watching all the episodes from the beginning!
I love "vortex of midsomer"!
I'm on 19-6 now (binging all weekend) and Kam is back, trying to decide if her attraction to Winter is stronger than the pull of an enticing new job. The mystery on this one has to do with an orchestra.
Have you noticed most of the stories have a formula? Almost always there are three murders, or two murders and the murderer gets caught while trying to kill a third person? There was actually an episode in series 18 where no one got killed, and I recall a while back someone was killed but eventually found to be no murder. I think they need to spice up their plots like that a little more.
Sykes kind of irritated me. I'm glad they gave him his own spot in the garden, it's a nice touch. I read the dog "actor" retired.
I like the new guy too, but I'm not fond of the medical examiner Kam. The episode I'm on (rabbits) she's at a month long course. I like her replacement better so I hope they keep him around.
I've actually liked all the sergeants except one. I can't remember his name. He was tall, never really liked his job because he preferred the city. I thought he was too pretty.
One of the things I like is the country setting, love the cottages and flowers. Problem is, though, it doesn't rain enough and it always seems to be summer!
You're probably right about that, but if he's not guilty it's still cliche to accuse him. Gotta wonder what the friend's angle is to accuse him.
I think it's hard to bring Stephen King into a series. His stories have a beginning, middle and end, while TV producers want to make money and have their shows go on forever. It's hard to do that if they put all the thrills in the first episode.
This show should have been billed "fantasy" since it is so unbelievable. I'm not surprised if it's cancelled.
Yup. Agreed. It could have been great.
Well there was another good thing: they finally ENDED that asinine Reid in prison thing. That plot leaked like a broken sieve.
Well yes, it's just nice to give newbies a heads up!
By the way, what is your take on this Derek thing? He seems to still live in the same city. If he is such a friend to everyone, why didn't they stay in touch when he left the job? I personally don't have work friends, all my friends work in different places and we get together. They could all be friends "off camera". Like so much in CM these days, it doesn't make sense.
