While the original comic was clearly pro-liberal, it was written in a different era. It was mostly anti-corporate and anti-establishment. The gang was, I suppose, more libertarian that anything else. You mean, like Wakanda proves African technologic superiority? When we are all hiding in the ruins of the advanced human civilization, you might yet look back at our times and think: "Well, at least they still had Star Wars then" It's the election year. No more pretending to laugh at both sides. They feel they have to make a stand. I don't think there is a need. Everywhere you look Islam creates horror after horror. It's the most barbaric faith and all (with maybe a couple of exceptions) barbaric cultures are Muslim. It's relevant more than ever. There is currently no one in the West capable.of standing up to the rising dark barbaric powers of the East. But we are all animals. Everything we do and think and feel is based of genetic programming from before Homo Sapiens Sapiens existed. Some of that goes back 10s of millions of years. I think there should be an exception for sex idols of our youth. That doesn't sound very "subtle". Very 90s, very nice. There is just one in the books. With a suitably vague background. The first one was more of a historical fantasy than anything else. I doubt this one will be any more accurate. In an age of people who get outraged by anything, it's a conflict one can explore without stepping on anyone's toes. These movies seem to have been made for people who read the books. As actresses or best boobs? He is not. He is a disgusting pig and deserves to rot in jail. Still, the perversion of the justice system goes far beyond that. If you never read the book? You know, I doubt it. The script is not well written and some thing make no sense. I have no idea why is she getting roles As a Jew I say she did not. The Holocaust is there to be a lesson. On, among other things, how to effectively dehumanise a group of people in a civilised society. Frankly The Peripheral is far from Gibson's best work and The Agency is simply terrible. So no great loss. This one is a more important sci-fi novel (although I am not a fan). It deserved a better adaptation.
