Yessss! That's great news!
Yeah, I wish they had given Jennifer Jason Leigh more to do. It is nice to see her again in the Stephen King universe though! I don't know if she's been in another SK adaption since Dolores Claiborne.
In Carrie I think he's mentioned to be working at the gas station, if I'm not mistaken.
I came here to say that :D
Anywhere but Here and Tumbleweeds have similar vibes. There's no storytelling but it's daughters understanding their lives through their relationship with their mothers.
Thanks for clearing that up!
Also, I believe they're both her adoptive parents.
Man, now I really want to try some.
I like that one!

Ha! I love it. That would be amazing. 😂
I love the guiding spirit/conscience idea. Either protecting him like Harry or constantly trying to sobatage/make him turn himself in.
I really hope Deb returns as Dexter's conscious. Wouldn't it be cool if she played the part of him that wants to get caught/is self sabotaging. Or maybe she'd be like the next Harry as someone said.
I think it would be cool if he had a run in with Harrison. Maybe from a distance. Maybe Harrison's a super bad criminal now he has to put a stop to but doesn't want to. Or hey, maybe he turned out great without Dexter in his life. It would be really cool to get an update on that.
This post was deleted because it was a nazi.
I think she's hilarious. I really love her interactions with Sonny.
Greg was the worst about this. Some of the lines in this show are cringe. I still love it though!
Oh snap! I'm ready for the holidays too!
She says it as she's going up some stairs into the light, as well.
Same. I keep seeing it 4 yrs later. How bizarre.
Yes, and I think her breakdown was deeper than her sexual repression.
It was the small town. The fact that they couldn't go anywhere or do anything without people looking or gossiping about them/others. Both Bud and Deanie were really pressured by their parents expectations. Bud was looking pretty bad too until his father died.
It was also that this was Deanie's first love, that it all fell apart, and when I really look back, Bud didn't always treat her that well. He's always pushing her away, or shoving her down, slapping her around, and the whole movie she just looks at him with such...adoration, it's painful to watch.
By the end, I felt like she was growing up and getting stronger, forever changed by her experiences- but I also have the sense that she's probably going to keep needing psychiatric help. Just a hunch.
lol based off of what was seen in this movie? HELL no. It's a nightmare from start to finish pretty much. Being trapped in my mind would be terrifying.
Looks true to life to me! There's plenty of labor videos on youtube nowadays to compare. Maybe now more expecting couples will be better prepared for what labor actually feels like. It's different for everyone.
😬 People say a lot of ignorant things like that about bipolar disorder. They use the word wrong for stupid stuff. I don't know his diagnosis, but you can be an alcoholic and abuser without being bipolar.
