I remember a reporter saying that it was bigger deal to cover the Cosmos than the Yankees and thought that the reporter was delusional.
Other than being about a group of friends living in New York the two shows didn't have much in common. Friends had a serious side to it while Seinfeld was all comedy. I would say Seinfeld had more in common with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia because both group of friends were selfish and could do some bad things although the gang from Philadelphia did much worse things.
George knocking women and children out of the way to get out of a kitchen fire and then trying to explain that he was a hero.
The Lady was very pretty but the Handmaiden was on another level of beauty but both of them were bland. Kate was not only beautiful but had personality and I would have chosen her over the other two.
I know this is an old post but I had to reply that you are absolutely correct. The problem with big budget movies is that they fall in love with special effects while trying to get big name actors who are going for an award instead of just telling a story.
After Woodstock when Sha Na Na started touring the band would open up with Screamin Scott Simon telling the crowd " We got just one thing to say to you fucking hippies and that is rock and roll is here to stay." Kind of funny when you realize the hippie movement is what got them in the spotlight.
I have seen a couple of episodes where he has a hard time keeping his eyes open.
In the beginning of the movie Veronica asks the creature if she can stay and the creature bites her because it only wants the sex and nothing else. The creature is through with her and wants someone else to satisfy it's lust.
Years ago they tried to make Vanna a movie star and put her in a movie and she was terrible in it. She needs to be thankful that she had the job she had for so long and got paid what she did.
David from the Black Pearl was a moron. When you are in New York City and you have a celebrity inviting people to a restaurant you better believe that place is going to be packed but David was claiming no one would show up.
Peter from Peter's Italian Restaurant was a fake.
There was the scene where a bill collector shows up and Peter goes after the guy and goes right through his own father to get to the him. The fact that he is in financal trouble and doesn't seem to have any self control makes me wonder if he is on drugs.
The church hopping episode because Hank didn't get his way and acted like a baby about it and in the end wins.
I think Jessi was a hardworker but just inexperienced which is why she came across the way she did. I think the CEO was crushing on her which is why she got as much as she did.
In "Mr. Monk Goes to the Circus" a guy gets his head crushed by an elephant stepping on him.
I would like to see them go to work undercover at a National Park for Xanterra or Aramark.
Debbie Allen and Anne Meara are famous.
Carrie Fisher was very pretty but not even close to hottest ever.
It is on Vudu.
It was corny but I thought it had it's funny moments like when Camina realizes she can't see the Countess reflection in the mirror and the Countess telling her it's not a very good mirror.
This will never be a camp classic because those movies are usually low budgeted movies with inexperienced actors like Manos: Hands of Fate or Sharktopus.
