He said it was because of the time pressure. This was the fastest way for him to work and the only way to finish under the deadline.
You have to open your mind to accept her in a role that is atypical for her.
She did a great job. If you watch the director's commentary that becomes even clearer because they talk about things she even improv'ed for the part.
It was more of a joke, really. :)
In an earlier season they were once talking about the situation in an international dance competition where there were multiple couples on the floor at the same time and another guy ran into Tony's partner and so he punched him. "Isn't that what you're supposed to do?" he asked with a grin.
Actually I did a little web research and it seems that after so many seasons Tony just decided to take a break.
I think you knew one more than I did. ;)
Yes, because they're ABC they usually do a good job with Disney night. I remember that two seasons ago or so I thought it was so good that I actually forwarded some video to my brother, who normally never watches the show, but is a big Disney fan.
Say, do you know whatever happened to Tony Dovolani? Did he punch somebody again? ;)
Thought the directing and script needed a bit more work this time, but not bad! The guest star did an excellent job. Hoping the rest of the run will be even better.
That's a good point I hadn't considered. Mr. T may have a nostalgia base.
Erika is a Real Housewife? I have little awareness of those shows or her role in them.
Another ringer might be Normani Kordei -- as a musical performer, should have great timing and charismatic presentation.
Yes, it's fun when someone really starts improving. Our baseballist seemed to do that this week, though his program seemed carefully crafted to make him look good. That might not be feasible again next week.
I wasn't excited for Vega$ night. My favorite is always "my most significant year" and I wish they hadn't delayed it this long.
Thanks. :)
Who's your pick for next out?
I'm starting to see there are a lot of ringers this time. There's a skater, a gymnast and an actual dancer. Really tough to predict who will win.
Did I call Charo or what? Usually I don't get those right. ;)
Next out I suppose will be Mr. T.
Babies have no inhibitions at all. That's probably how they really think. Ever hear of sibling rivalry?

I admire The Band Wagon more, but Singin' in the Rain is just plain more fun.
No surprise in the elimination.
Weird the way Maks injured himself not doing anything particularly unusual. Wonder what's going on there.
Why did so many try Hip Hop this week? Thought Len was gonna have a connipition fit! Shows why it's important he stay on the show.
I have a feeling Charo won't be around too long this season. Most of the voters are women and I very much doubt that she is appealing to that demographic. Hope they let her actually do a flamenco before she leaves though.
'Tis not explained in the film, but 'tis an Irish name. Probably reflects the tendency of women to be named after men, e.g. Billie, Johnna, Nigella, and many more.
Read more at http://www.babynamespedia.com/meaning/Cluny :
The baby boy name Cluny is pronounced as KLuw-NNIY- †. Cluny is primarily used in the English language and it is of Irish origin. The name means from the meadow.

Another variant of Cluny is the short form Clu.
Cluny is not frequently used as a baby boy name. It is not ranked within the top 1000.
Cage, yes, but John Cusack has never been in a bad movie, or bad in a movie.
Simone, maybe? But there are certainly other possibilities.
Not the most stellar of opening shows, dancing-wise. Only one team got as high as 8. In some past seasons multiple couples did.
Someone give Charo a sedative. I didn't think anyone could make Bruno look sedate, until now.
Great to hear the Len will be there for every episode!
First out? Kattan or Mr. T.
The problem with the question is that Texas has two accents, a southern one and a western one. Only the people who use the same accent as the one Diaz is using will find it believable.
I'd say the biggest problem was that you see the ending coming a mile away. They needed to be a bit more clever about that.
There are some scenes too where Voight is talking with a German accent while the other actor -- also supposedly German -- speaks with a British accent.
Seems some people feel every film has to follow the standard Hollywood cookie-cutter approach. Oy vey.
Wasn't it obvious? He had done very bad things, even to Jews, his own people, and after years of trying to distance himself from the fact, this trip brought it all home and knocked him absolutely flat with sorrow, regret and horror.
