That one musical number, and you know which one, really dragged the movie down. No need for this to be three hours.

Forget about 1965, this film is just forgotten about it general.
I don't think it's his best, but this definitely is a great film. Shelley Winters was great in a supporting role.
I thought this was just me. I assumed it was some sort of lens thing.
This was reminiscent of those 60's spaghetti westerns where they speak a different language but overdub it, and only release the overdubbed version. Why speak the language if you know you're going to overdub it anyway?
This is the version I saw. God bless Criterion. The quality was amazing.
