Correct. Clarice even says that Transexuals are passive.
If anything, this film would be considered woke.
I agree that she didn’t deserve what happened.
The films intention is to show how a lack of civility is leading to severe consequences. Road rage is a serious issue these days and people should try to be more courteous to each other. You never know how the others will react.
I think that was the point of her character.
Her life was a mess of her own doing.
Spoilers!
In the final scene she holds off from pressing the horn showing how her character is starting to change for the better.
I saw it for the first time today. It has an interesting premise. I was hooked at the beginning but I started losing interest. The movie is just too excessive with the profanity and promiscuity. I am not a prude or anything like that. But I feel it lost it’s humor by going this far.
Maybe it is time to retire the character.
But at the same time, the ending for the fifth film is just sad.
Is Rambo ever going to have closure and happiness?
I felt that the fourth one gave us that.
Maybe a sixth film with a much better send off could work.
I was pretty much done with Marvel and this film revived by interest.
So, yes, it was a good movie.
Or we can have the quality of the first five seasons of Game of Thrones.
Is that too much to ask?
I don’t care for her. I wish they would either sent her away or kill her off. I tune out every time she is on the screen.
People seem to like the black characters in the Wire.
They also like Frank Lucas from American Gangster and Jules from Pulp Fiction.
It think it is a matter of the characters not being fleshed out enough and, perhaps, a lack of charisma from the actors.
She called him from the jail to bail her out.
When he suddenly appeared on screen, it was like he was saying: “Surprise, Motherfucker!”
Some people have compared him to Joffrey. I really don’t see the resemblance. The closest he came to being like Joffrey was when he hung the ratcatchers. Yet, as messed up as that is, at least he had a good reason for it. Joffrey was just cruel for the sake of it.
Aside from that, Aegon actually seems to care for people and wants to be liked.
The show is over and I stand by the OP.
The franchise needs to focus on the future. Long into the future and stop screwing with the past.
I have to disagree with you on Amy Adams. Her performance is spot on. I work with addicts and mentally ill people. They can be just like her, if not more intense.
All this shows is how good the writers are.
I just find it is not believable that they are still cops.
How many cops active since the early 1980s are still in the force in 2024?
Most of them would be retired collecting a pension.
He just finished filming Modi, which is produced by Al Pacino. It is going to premier in the Venice Film festival.
He is also cast in a Terry Gilliam film, which includes Jeff Bridges and Jason momoa.
It seems he is slowly but steadily getting his career back.
I forgot about that. Still, he created the situation by getting the V in the first place.
I think it was for tracking. After kicking him, I think they followed him.
Yeah, they went a little Game of Thrones with the deaths.
