I'm right and you're wrong! Stop being a sore loser. His "innocence"was never an issue, therefore completely irrelevant. Perhaps the attorney(s) in your family can explain it to you. Yes, I'm happy because once again I've been proven right! : ) "He was still unanimously found guilty" No he wasn't since the Illinois Supreme Court basically made everything which happened after Smollet met conditions of the DA agreement null and void. Basically, the problem is that everything done was based on appeasing public opinion aka: witch hunt. The judicial process was fatally flawed. Too often, lives are ruined in "high profile cases" including celebrity and front story cases in which prosecutors are willing to ruin innocent lives and present flimsy "evidence because they feel pressured by the public. The Central Park Five, Richard Jewell, some of the "me too" movement cases, are examples. If you look closely at the "evidence" against Smollet, it's basically just the testimony of the two men who attacked him. It's like believing the rapist instead of the victim. I've repeatedly warn about the "me too" testimony cases because people can be motivated for revenge or seeking fame which incentivizes them to lie. I was skeptical about the accusations against George Takei, Chris Hardwick and Stephen Collins by his estranged wife who wanted more alimony. It lowers your chances of getting covid and protects you from becoming hospitalized or dying similarly like the flu shot. You mistakingly believe that there is only ONE version of covid when similarly like the flu and common cold, there are many versions which are constantly mutating into even more varients. Under those conditions, a vaccine cannot protect you against ALL varients - just the few latest like it does with the yearly flu virus. Throwing the baby out with the bath water makes zero sense. It's better to increase your chances of avoiding covid rather than forego being vaccinated because it cannot provide 100% protection. Even if you're young and healthy, covid silently and slowly damages organs like the brain and heart, etc with each exposure. I know people who suffer from permanent long term health damage after getting covid. Not worth the risk. I don't normally do vaccines, but too many unknowns about covid and the way it attacks the body which is why I make an exception and get the covid vaccine yearly. No one is found "innocent". Only not guilty. Clearly, the Illinois Supreme Court agree that the 4 major problems were relevant. If you were interested in justice, instead of a racist witch hunt, you'd want Trump in prison. I'm clearly on the correct side of history since I said it was a witch hunt years ago and the Illinois Supreme Court agrees with me. "He just took a deal." And an agreed upon deal can't be reneged says the Illinois Supreme Court. Move on! If you were interested in justice, instead of racist retribution, you'd want Trump in prison. "Racists whites wanted him to pay. That's persecution. Pure and simple." How many times have you had covid? Did you get the polio shot? Or whooping cough shot? Or diphtheria shot? Or tetanus shot? Case dismissed. You were and are wrong! Your witch hunt continues. Give it a rest. All charges were dropped as per original agreement. Second charges (double jeopardy) were dismissed by the Illinois Supreme Court. Null and void. Webb has egg on his face because he wrongfully bowed to public opinion and should never have recharged Smollet. Completely unconstitutional. He didn't walk. An agreement was made that he would pay $10,000 and complete community service in exchange for the charges to be dropped which he did. But you racists never let go of your old desire to lynch black men, do you? No one is found "innocent" in a court of law. Only "not guilty". There is a difference! It was NOT overturned on a technicality! Smollet and the previous DA made an agreement. The ruling never had to determine Smollet's "innocence" since the agreement had ALL CHARGES DROPPED if Smollet paid $10,000 and did community service which he did. Public opinion influenced the case which lead to the charges being refiled. That's double jeopardy. Similar situation happened with Bill Cosby who made an agreement with the DA in exchange for his testimony. Later, the new DA reneged on the agreement. Eventually, Cosby was released from prison because of the original agreement and wrongdoing by the new DA. 4 major problems: 1. Double jeopardy 2. Allowing public opinion to influence a court case 3. Reneging on the agreement made by the DA and Smollet after he completed its terms. 4. Due process rights violations The Illinois Supreme Court made the right decision in fairness and justice. No, it's not! The Criminal Justice system isn't what you see on TV in which guilty people are carefully and diligently found by hardworking detectives. Instead, two guilty guys were told if they say whatever the DA wanted to hear, they would get off scot-free for the crime they committed by implicating someone else. That's plenty of incentive for them to lie. And it happens everyday. That's not justice and explains why so many innocent people end up in prison in the U.S.. Be careful about clicking on X to close pop-ups. Sometimes they're a hidden execution which allows a virus. I had to pay $100+ to a techie to remove a virus for that advice. I close the browser using the "close window" prompt, through the task bar or specifically the back arrow with these pop-ups. I'm getting the same on my PC. My phone has a pop-up stopper, but the ads are clearly stopping the pages from properly loading so it interfers from writing comments. No lost. A real book title "written" by Andrew Phillips. It has 54 blank pages and sells for $23. It's the pet rock of books. Electoral College = Rigged
