Your witch hunt continues. Give it a rest.
All charges were dropped as per original agreement.
Second charges (double jeopardy) were dismissed by the Illinois Supreme Court. Null and void. Webb has egg on his face because he wrongfully bowed to public opinion and should never have recharged Smollet. Completely unconstitutional.
He didn't walk. An agreement was made that he would pay $10,000 and complete community service in exchange for the charges to be dropped which he did. But you racists never let go of your old desire to lynch black men, do you?
No one is found "innocent" in a court of law. Only "not guilty". There is a difference!
It was NOT overturned on a technicality! Smollet and the previous DA made an agreement. The ruling never had to determine Smollet's "innocence" since the agreement had ALL CHARGES DROPPED if Smollet paid $10,000 and did community service which he did. Public opinion influenced the case which lead to the charges being refiled. That's double jeopardy.
Similar situation happened with Bill Cosby who made an agreement with the DA in exchange for his testimony. Later, the new DA reneged on the agreement. Eventually, Cosby was released from prison because of the original agreement and wrongdoing by the new DA.
4 major problems:
1. Double jeopardy
2. Allowing public opinion to influence a court case
3. Reneging on the agreement made by the DA and Smollet after he completed its terms.
4. Due process rights violations
The Illinois Supreme Court made the right decision in fairness and justice.
No, it's not! The Criminal Justice system isn't what you see on TV in which guilty people are carefully and diligently found by hardworking detectives.
Instead, two guilty guys were told if they say whatever the DA wanted to hear, they would get off scot-free for the crime they committed by implicating someone else. That's plenty of incentive for them to lie. And it happens everyday. That's not justice and explains why so many innocent people end up in prison in the U.S..
Be careful about clicking on X to close pop-ups. Sometimes they're a hidden execution which allows a virus. I had to pay $100+ to a techie to remove a virus for that advice.
I close the browser using the "close window" prompt, through the task bar or specifically the back arrow with these pop-ups.
I'm getting the same on my PC.
My phone has a pop-up stopper, but the ads are clearly stopping the pages from properly loading so it interfers from writing comments.
No lost.
A real book title "written" by Andrew Phillips. It has 54 blank pages and sells for $23.
It's the pet rock of books.
Electoral College = Rigged
You're still a jerk!
You're too ignorant to understand that language comes from cultural differences and not the Tower of Babel?
Not only Israel.
"The US has blocked a Gaza ceasefire draft resolution at the United Nations Security Council - the fourth time it has used its veto power during the conflict to shield its ally, Israel."

Stories about Noah & the Ark and Adam & Eve originally came from the Babylonians and were adapted by Ancient Hebrews into their own religion.
Moses never happened which is why there is no record of him. Furthermore, Jews were never enslaved in Egypt. Egyptians kept careful records. No slave records. No exodus. Pyramids were NOT made from straw and mud or they wouldn't have lasted for millennia. They were made from limestone.
They're all very nice fairy tale stories.
Use your noodle. All earth's animals are not going to fit on one ark. That's dumb! Do you think Noah traveled to the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa to collect all animals?
Btw, you're the least Christian person on this site considering your belligerent attitude. What part of the Golden Rule don't you comprehend?
Electoral College = Republican election fraud
Slavery never ended! Reread that amendment!
Natives still being persecuted today by whites. You're still illegal.
Whites need to pay for the stolen land and back wages.
Not true about Native or Black history. Your "history" has an extreme Eurocentric bias. You didn't learn about the contributions of the Iroquois Confederacy to democracy, Constitution and infrastructure? Or their contribution to medicine and agriculture? Or their architecture and civilizations?
Europeans were malnourished and very short from malnutrition when they arrived because European monarchs and nobility kept wealth for themselves while starving and overworking the masses. Natives were more egalitarian and democratic sharing their resources.
The first Europeans traded with Natives on the East coast for years. European diseases wiped out entire Native populations on the East coast leaving them vulnerable. Europeans either lived in depopulated Native villages or asked Natives for help in order to survive.
They weren't farmers and the Jamestown population resorted to cannibalism because they were starving.

Slavery never ended in the U.S.. I bet you don't know that.
White people had laws preventing Asians from immigrating to the U.S. and becoming citizens. Bangladesh until recently was a part of India. Indians were historically treated like garbage by white people. What do you know of India's colonialism by the British and Gandhi's protest movement?
Which history books did you read?
I just read a summary out of curiosity and disliked the last two novel plots. Very convoluted. The first story in which the movie is based is good, but it doesn't appear the writer knew how to continue the story.
A less convoluted plot would've been to keep the parents and their baby on the island and have their baby grow up there. At some point, the parents die or are killed by the tribal people while their kid is hiding. Let the kid who becomes a teen fall in love with a tribal escapee runaway while they live an isolated existence on the island like his parents did.
If you're curious, this is the link to the summary. But, don't click if you want to read the novels:

Novel 2nd sequel:

I found the movie sequel (free with ads). It doesn't appear to have anything to do with the book:

You're still trolling.
Yawn!
