While I agree 8 episodes is a short amount, I'd almost accept it if they told an actual story, instead of a portion of a story that goes nowhere..... The fluff is stretched out as a result of hiring incompetent writers ...

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they give Luke a kid, if the books haven't already. I don't believe it's Yoda's kid, and I don't want it to be his kid. The egg didn't need to be pre-cracked. Crushing an egg in your hand takes no effort at all. I'm assuming the previous poster was confused by the one way it is hard to break an egg and that's squeezing solely on the ends. That didn't happen here. Robert Mitchum simply crushed in in his palm.
