I agree with your post and think Dark Knight is drivel and Driving Miss Daisy and Terms of Endearment are the clear better pictures despite the scores. I, however, think its less the problem of IMDBs rating system and more the problem of society. Masses of people just seem to love love love shit ass movies. More people than not love shoveling shit into their mouth while thinking its ice cream. Which is why i never use any websites or reviews to decide what to watch. I sure as shit am not going to read what some paid off critic has to say and I’m not going to read what some 20 year old in Ohio has to say either. I’ll read the synopsis and then decide for myself whether or not it’s something i want to see. I myself never heard of it until i read it won best picture. Will i ever watch it? Fuck no. Because of her ordeal with David and his crew. They could have still committed crimes in whichever country they went too. Maybe they did and served time/escape from prison again under whichever alias they were using. Working at the same job I’m at now. Depends on what we’re watching. If it’s something I’ve already seen before then no more than a few bucks. If i haven’t seen it before then max 10 bucks. You’re correct. He has the right to be a jackass in public. He does. People also also have the right to think he’s an idiot. The NFL and the 49ers also had the right to drop him from the league/team. Where the rights were limited is with the government. The government didn’t have the right to force the NFL to drop him. The government didn’t have the right to imprison him for his actions. And they didn’t. And he wasn’t. So there’s no violation of anyone’s constitutional rights. In answer to your other post where you say: “NOBODY thought free speech only applied to government intrusion until social media” that’s irrelevant. How people used to interpret the law and what the law actually was is irrelevant. The law is what the law is and is written as it was always written. There were no amendments made to it when social media came on onto the scene. I think it was. Funny. I keep thinking the picture of Logan is for Your Honor Season 3. You laughed so hard at the line that you couldn’t even hear it over your laughter. The line was “75 homeruns” 🙃 Thats exactly my point. The episodes were pointless. They were in there to push gay propaganda. No other reason for the episodes. If episode 3 was a random episode about Bill and some random woman it would have been an equally as pointless episode adding nothing to the story. No. But when they deliver 2 full episodes specifically about the characters being gay that add NOTHING to the story then yeah, thats a problem. Yeah, definitely. Life’s too short to slog through ho-hum novels. I’ve closed bad books part-way through and never reopened then plenty of times. Lets get on with it then. Its always empty threats. Gets quite tiring and old. He needs to either make a move or sit the fuck down and shut up. Mr Church was a fantastic movie. This movie was destined to have a part two. To have her go nuts and have everything be fake and all in her head would eliminate the possibility of a sequel. Which the producers are not going to do. Plenty we can do about it. Stop watching everything. Money talks. In the shape he was in he wouldn’t have been in General Population. He would’ve been in a medical facility.
