Ranking them again just cuz (not including the Deadpool films or New Mutants which of course I have seen and dig)…
1. Days of Future Past
2. First Class
3. Logan
4. Apocalypse (Yup)
5. X2
6. Dark Phoenix
7. X-Men
8. The Wolverine
9. The Last Stand
10. Origins:Wolverine
Damn right the later installments are my favorites (and I don’t think the first film or even the sequel touch some of these installments). And yes, I’ve been a fan of the franchise since the first film (love me some X2), but despite all the misses, the franchise evolved and it did deliver some far superior films.
MovieChat, oh, MovieChat… You just keep attracting the “RIGHT” kinda people, don’tcha? Well, ‘course. It spreads fast with vermin reich pillers, know what I mean?
But yeah, there goes the latest broflake fascist chud of the MovieChat family who so badly wishes we were still living in the good ol’ safe space colonizer days where no one inconvenienced its kind spewing its garbage. Just look at it go! Doing what its worst does worst. But yo, when an obvious troll (what one would think is an obvious troll) is indistinguishable from the large numbers of reich wing broflakes up in this magat cesspool then… well it ain’t a baiting troll actually. It means serious Nazi business.
Props to you non-old timey Hollywood and society (still have a long way to go you do) for continuing to trigger the reich people oh so madly.
Definitely otherworldly. 100%! Well, maybe…
But I know that if it makes the paranoid likes of you scarengry (like the idea of a black shark apparently — typical reich piller up in this righty cesspool), then that’s good enough. Bring it the fuck on! ;)
Oh wook… a TOTALLY one-of-a-kind poster up in these regressive-infested boards thinks its dropping facts and showing its youngster enemies (that offends it) who’s a big toughie. Oooh! Wow, this site never sees this kind of broflake (sometimes karenflake) signaling!
But yawn… just another projecting broflake who cries about the good ol’ “tough” days (back when no one inconvenienced its “hardcore” kind) whining about PC, reich pill buzzword this and that, the icky modern generation being so sensitive (mmm, that boomer xoomer broflake projection is always flexing), and you know the rest. Needless to say, this is happening in MovieChat. Yes, MovieChat. You know, the safe space message boards for all the pro-book banning and back in my day reich wing broflakes who cry about [insert reich pill terminology here] 24/7 and CaNCeL CuLtUrE when in true reich wing fashion these “tough” broflakes live to cancel everyone who dares offend their old timey reactionary sensibilities. Don’t thread on me these broflake chuds say? In other words, don’t inconvenience me!
Hope? LOL. Well even though there’s CLEARLY many like it desperately trying to keep the traditional ways alive (such stereotypical fear-mongering reich pillers), thank fuck what its fragile reactionary decrepit kind considers hope is seen as the opposite by the “offended” broflake-disapproved modern generation that lives rent free in its toxic head. Uber-PC sensibilities? Sounds about altright and white, Uber-colonizer. Now it’s unnecessary to tell it this (wook at it responding to old message after old message that it found triggering like many of its kind do up in these magat boards!), keep crying some more and spewing the same garbage all yer fellow hopeless manbaby reich pillers obsessed with the big bad woke youngsters, modern film industry and world in general do all over this board (and everywhere online) constantly. As always, everyone that upsets your big boy self (from normal “sensitive” youngsters to the entire Entertainment industry) is obviously doing something GOOD. And keep doing it, enemies of the fascist cons!
Bish bye
Strangely, some found this to be worse than the first. Heh, maybe it is? While it may be an even sillier movie, I thought it was executed slightly better nonetheless. It’s still a messy movie like the first, though I’m with those who found the sequel to be a bit of an improvement over the first. Enjoyable films regardless.
As for Hardy’s involvement in NWH… damn was that anti-climatic. NWH was first-rate, but come on, Venom 2’s mid-credits scene teased something bigger than what we ultimately got, lol. That said, if Hardy’s Eddie Brock has no future in the universe he briefly visited, then I can live with it… if he can still pop up in a future MCU Spidey film as an Eddie Brock variant (a much more serious and brooding Eddie). 😁 Probably won’t happen, but Marvel doing something different with Venom would be preferable.
*laughs in WandaVision and Moon Knight*
Unkewl I know, but it’s like that. Goddamn right, kewl broken record.
Oh, what I meant to say is… FINALLY someone said it! For, like the ten thousandth or so time. It’s new, though! So new. I mean, no one saw this coming from day 1, right? Of course, you’ve only seen it every time another kewl non-Marvel comic joint comes out (especially when it comes from the incredibly hit and miss DCEU obvs) and it actually manages to impress many. Hating on the big kid on the block (which is still ruling despite its kewl detractors always trying to convince anyone who isn’t them that every new project from them is going to kill the franchise once and for all) is of course the kewl bro way. Betta? More consistent and amusingly colorful and than two of them so far, sure. ;)
But lol, hilarious to think that many of the kewl DC-sters who were trashing everything about the notable Marvel director behind this latest DC show years ago are now eating up a project by him. Predictable AF. It’s different cuz this be the “real” Gunn? That’s kewl, kewl one. Well even when he departs the kewl-to-hate-franchise y’all’s too good for, pretty damn sure Marvel will be doing just fine without him and the support of its tired detractors.
Yeah, but yer kewl, bro. Totally. Yer with the kewl crowd, and that be edgy. Well ok kewl bro with the “bold” takes, you keep telling this to yourself and yer kewl crowd. Ya definitely in agreement with each other. Anyway, so I started blasting...

Delightful
Deja vu. I mean it’s funny… that’s what enough people say about various superhero films (and shows) every year. And yes, this is especially including the MCU (which many of its kewl detractors, and there’s obvs no shortage of them up in this reactionary broflake hell hole, keep desperately calling “formulaic!” and all this other tired stuff they keep pushing). :D What does that tell you? Well, that whatever some see as usual superhero fare, is no longer… relevant.
Of course a bunch of projects are/will be more standard fare (not everything will stand out and attempt to break new ground - same goes for most films in general), and there’s always going to be something that makes the stuff from this franchise and other superhero franchises feel interconnected in more ways than one. Still, despite what the kewl folks love to scream (especially the ones obsessed with all this stuff but in a pathetic hateful way), a number of the films (+shows) from this franchise have, in fact, been unique from one another. Eternals? Why yes, while Marvel’s no stranger to keeping things interesting and fresh (that’s right, detractors), Zhao’s film was absolutely unlike any Marvel feature we’ve seen before. Even so, this franchise and the genre in general has come a long way and, clearly, it doesn’t look like it’s going away anytime soon. (The usual detractors up here speak for themselves only.) A little different? Understatement. ;) Tighter editing? Now I can agree with that, yet I didn’t find its slow pace to be an issue like others did. Bring on the next
Definitely a nice post, and quite a refreshing one in a place like this (understatement).
While I do wish it could have been better myself, I had no major problems with it and I can’t say that I was letdown overall since I didn’t have super high expectations despite being very excited for it (the trailers were amazing but I proceeded with caution nevertheless). Flaws aside, I found it interesting and entertaining for the most part.
I got time to spare. Ok… well this is new! Super duper new and edgy! MovieChat doesn’t get enough of this, I tell ya! That’s rite… this place is TOTALLY lacking in the mediocre white bro/red pee ranting and scare-mongering.
Well broflake, clearly you fear and KNOW that it’s very much a woke boogeyman production, ya Q Klux Ken. How non-reich wing will it be? Well for starters, it has people that are different than you. Yes… DIFFERENT. In every way! Ugh… Woke! Woke! Woke! But hmm…like virtually everything Hollywood today (not made by the “cancelled” bigot likes of Mel Gibson and others like him trying to keep things old skkkool and cancelling everyone not keeping things traditional) that’s embraced by the majority instead of the Hollywood-obsessed magats who constantly get triggered over their trumplican ideology not being respected in the biz and by many in society? Well, I’m pleased to tell you this film is going to be extremely woke/non-reich wing fascist!
Yup, it’s glorious! All yer fellow chuds up in this joint (and all over social media) having constant meltdowns cuz the industry is no longer appeasing ya wittle bigot broflakes… lol, well thank fuck! You know H town is doing something good by nonstop triggering the REICH people! Btw old timey one… SJW? Whoa! I thought that old favorite buzzword of the reich pill brigade was no more! ’Course, I still see some of you reactionary bigotflakes use it every now and then, but it usually comes from the most boomer reich wingers, ya know? Keep up with the times, chuds! Still calling everyone under 25 a big bad “Millennial” btw? Don’t matter… whether it’s Gen Y or the (barely) newest main target for Gen slacker X & Gen baby bottle boom, Gen Z, the modern generation is general obvs lives rent free in ya “back in my day” heads.
Anyways, if the apparent agenda that keeps triggering you dork web red pee propagandists, well, continues to trigger yer kewl “free-thinking” edgebro selves, then I say don’t stop Hollywood and all the non-reich wingers out there! Evidently you won’t. Mmm!
Hinda Lamilton is tho
So… actors playing fictional characters who are younger than them. Movies.
Because fortunately so many (especially filmmakers and, yes, audiences) aren’t wired like those like you. Clearly. Sure your kewl small-minded bigot kind has a big voice in these boards, but that’s the internet. The internet.
Quality? You: what does that matter if I’m gonna be triggered over something I can’t tolerate in general?
Next!
And look at it go. It is doing its kewl contrarian thing all over, huh? So edgy and groundbreaking. Those like it apparently are forced to watch them, hate-watch them, they’ll complain about them regardless because these films upset their petty existence.
Oh…. Breaking news!: something negative and totally original has been said about a dominate form of CINEMA today. Can ya guess what it is? Yup, the boomer xoomer/90’s boomer-approved hater bs. Yawn! But, hey, let’s pretend it’s something actually super duper original and courageous! Whoa…. you are bold, son! We can totally use more of this superhero hater stuff in these circles! You show those many, many dumb superhero fans what’s what! Sure you’ll only impress yer fellow petty haters in the minority in doing so, but y’all still the kewl big boy kind!
With that said…… HAHA!.
Well ok then. Obvs trolls aside, many would agree with such brave anti-superhero statements. But the good thing is: what yer kewl geriatric gatekeeping pompous self believes in, well…. the less miserable majority doesn’t. Ya dig? Clearly these cinematic home runs that yer kewl kind is above of aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. So yeah, you’ll just keep whining about them for years and years to come cuz that’s the way for you. “Toby” the real Spidey? Hehehe. Oh, dat originality by the “superior” film dweebs who live to complain. Super hardcore.
The effects were indeed good. The design itself? I’ve grown to appreciate it, especially after seeing the character’s return in NWH. Now I never disliked the way he looked per se, but I always thought they could have gone with a better design myself. Even so, while there’s no doubt that a more comic-accurate design would have looked far more menacing, I gotta say the final result works for me. He didn’t look completely like a Lizard (more human than total monster), and maybe that was for the best. If the character ever shows up again though, a redesign (or rather evolved look) would be great.
Yet another one that was apparently forced to watch something modern it hates. No viewing of the movie is necessary for these ones of course; knowing it exists is enough to trigger the Ken manbabies.
But oh my, this is original. Super original and courageous. 🥱 I mean, one NEVER sees this kind of rhetoric/whining coming from reich wing manbabies up here and everywhere online — bravely crying about the woke boogeyman 24/7 (I wonder what’s the next Reich pill buzzword that will overtake it? Barf) and everything in the modern world that offends their very fragile tired boomer xoomer (+ boomer-minded) reactionary bigot asses who are supposedly so tough.
Aww, but ya really miss them good ol’ days, huh big boy? Yer “alpha” self desperately wants women to go back to where your simple-minded fragile ass feels they belong cuz you so badly want back your old timey pro-exclusionary days where things were safe for ya kind, huh? (Oh, it desperately wants its old timey man meat that excites its little bigot chump self back to rule.) Well it ain’t gonna happen, o badass one. So keep crying about your cheesy ass 80’s glory days (good riddance to all the regressive-approved days!) and preach nonstop to yer fellow chuds about woke this and that and convincing yer broken record manbabies selves that u so tough. LOL
No shades, eyes clear and they make contact. Nah, he can definitely see.
The hate? The film has been a HUGE win in every way. On top of its spectacular box office, it’s been as well-received as any high-profile and blockbuster film (any film) can be. Obvs not everyone was impressed (no film can do that), but it absolutely met or exceeded the expectations of a lot of people.
Oh, the hate in this board? Yeah, well these negativity-filled boards FAR from represent the majority. Fortunately. Hating on virtually everything is the kewl thing all over this place. So, disregard the hate coming from the usual detractors here. The majority of audiences & critics have spoken (to many it IS the best one and for good reasons).
Would be funny (and appreciated) if they address this in a season 2 or in another MCU project. Bro.
