Facebook is very handy for asking questions of and getting info from businesses/organisations etc, eg on one occasion I got the cost of a downloadable game lowered by 50% by questioning the publisher on f/book about the price. I'm like you though, I have no interest in the day to day minutia of such things, so I just created a fake account so I could use it at my convenience. Worth it.

I doubt Mattie could have cared less if a man stood for her or not, that's her nature. In my view she knew exactly who who he was and that's the reason for her comment.

Indeed. There would be many adult actors that actually market themselves as ugly or odd looking, but that's a bit much to expect of a child actor. Can you imagine their parent/agent pulling that?
