Agreed. It's so easy to not spoil. SO easy. People are just too thoughtless and boneheaded. On IMDB I'd go to the message boards to get the general feeling about a movie if I didn't know much about it. Even just the collective thread titles were a good indicator most of the time. That was until the last few years when all etiquette seemed to vanish and morons would happily spoil the movie in the thread title (often appearing on the main page), and in some cases people spoiled OTHER movies in the message section as well!
You didn't get the job, madam. Perhaps you think it's because Jenna is prettier than you, or perhaps you just can't act. Don't be so bitter.
I thought that was a bit cheap and silly.
Just to clarify, they're on a equal footing is that what you mean? I suppose what I'm wondering is if it came down to it, say for some reason the Admiral and other command is out of the picture, would one of them have say over the other? For instance, and remember I'm talking from naivety here, what if the CAG needed to position the ship in order to perform certain operations with his aircraft, but the ship's captain considered it too risky to take the ship to the location required.
Many thanks 'Rich
Spoil me please, so what's it all about?
Many thanks maxman.
I noticed that too. Also did you see how the journey from Earth to Saturn only took, like, minutes? That's BS! I want all my movies in real time or else I'm going to call plot hole!
Good call. Your OP and the responses reminded me immediately of S. King's sci fi short story 'The Jaunt', where (spoilers) if people inadvertently teleport whilst awake and conscious, although their physical form transfers instantly their minds experience eons of isolation and zero input, and they emerge utterly insane and broken.
That makes the talk of having the wife brought out of it in a sequel deliciously chilling.
Nice one, thanks.
Thanks. I was really only watching it out of the corner of my eye while doing other things and i didn't catch much of the dialogue.
I hated Mad Max 2 for destroying the car, made me so sad (maybe more than the death of the dog).
However, this time? Meh. He couldn't have done much with it against all the psychos in this movie anyway. Even with the kamikaze-ness aside, battling was definitely a team sport this time around.
Also, it looked rubbish in bare metal and jacked up when it appeared again so I'm glad it was mashed up.
Sure, but he doesn't want anything he disagrees with to even exist. It's unthinkable that there might an opinion out there that is contrary to his own.
Ha, I saw both The Fly and this recently after many many years. I'd forgotten too. Proper old school grossness that still made me slit my eyes and turn my head away a bit, just awesome.
Can't deny, pretty damn cool.
Ha, true. Given the almost insane level of security and caution around him, that was a laughable plot device.
One could argue perhaps she always put a few more in him to make sure, but on the occasions we witness it it only took the first one.
Agreed on the nonchalance, they could have made her just a little more emotional about it without detriment to the movie.
Murr eating food out of the footbath.

Interesting, thankyou.
