Where can I see it?
I think the show is good and pretty intriguing. It brings up lots of self evaluation for me. I'm looking forward to the next season. I haven't read the books but I saw people wrote that the show has caught up so it'll be a new story from here.
Thank you genplant29! I've only gone on TCM's website a handful of times. I always forget to avail myself of the resources available. I was strongly dependent on IMDb because the page layout was nice for each movie and the boards were right there so I got kind of lazy. I'm really enjoying these new boards though. I'm very grateful Jim was able to archive so many of the old IMDb pages.
I feel your pain Cookie.L.A.! I've mentioned it to a few friends and they're like "Meh". There's money in this story somehow. I'm not quite sure how but somehow. You know what they say about money.

My all time favorite is The Third Man. It's so beautifully filmed. Oh, the scene where we first see Harry Lime!!! The cat rubbing against Harry's foot! The light across his face! The actors! Orson Welles, Joseph Cotton, Trevor Howard, VALI!!!!! They are all superb! And not to mention, the director, Carol Reed! The story! The music! Vienna! That movie is perfect. I can't think of one thing I'd change. It's on this weekend on TCM because they'll be on the T's. If you haven't seen it, please watch. You won't be sorry, it'll be one of your favorites.

TCM is the best!!! I always check the schedule to see what's on. It's my favorite escape. There nothing else like it. I like the bit of trivia they give at the beginning of the movie and I wish they would do a lot more of that. An hour long daily show discussing the movie business with all different professionals (not just famous actors) would be my ideal addition. That's why I can't do without these message boards, they give me so much more incite and background than I could get anywhere else.

This is one of my favorite shows on right now. I thinks it's outstanding in every way.
I'm another lurker since the beginning of IMDb but I'm trying to participate here because I want people to come here and start posting! I am trying to not visit IMDb and it's hard. My first instinct is to go there and look for information so I'm trying to stick to Wikipedia and such.
Have you seen The Skin I Live In? It's an homage to Eyes Without a Face by Pedro Almodovar. It's excellent.
Oh my God, I thought this movie was hilarious! I love the scene where the daughter sings The Greatest Love of All.
Same here, db20db, I love this movie. The first time I saw it I was a teenager and I didn't quite appreciate how powerful the message is. I've watched it so many times. It's a great movie.
We had a theater in Chicago called The Will Rodgers and it only played Disney movies. I saw my first movie there, Escape from Witch Mountain. At least that's the first one I remember. I know I loved going!
Wow! You saw Alice Doesn't Live HereAnymore at the drive-in? That's a bizarre choice for that theater owner to play at that venue, but I have to say, I think it's the coolest!
