I certainly did, for at least 30 years. I'm considering going to see MI7 or maybe even Oppenheimer. It's only 6 bucks here in Thailand.
The last movie I saw in a theater was Top Gun: Maverick and I left the theater feeling virtually nothing at all.
I feel the same will happen if I go see MI7 or Oppenheimer.

I much prefer seeing a movie at the theater than on my TV, except for when there are noisy people in the audience.
shareI don't enjoy it as much as I used to. Too much popcorn crunching, even for 3 hours during Oppenheimer they don't stop as if they didn't eat for days. Often bad AC/ventilation.
Also you can have a better screen at your home (OLED). Projectors image just doesn't look so accurate.
I've gone to see them more as I got older because I never got to go very much when I was younger. It was a very special treat and excited me. I have a friend who owns several local movie theatres. I go there with him sometimes. They serve regular restaurant food instead of the crap at AMC and Regal.
