Season 2 and Season 3

So,
How did the Borg die out leading to only one ship only?

What happened to the Borg at the end of season 2, or was that written out of the history?

BTW; loved the Q-ending.

Almost seems like it was written out, as Dr. Crusher says the Borg haven’t been spotted in a decade. Gotta watch the last episode of Star Trek Voyager, Endgame, apparently the Borg were still heavily crippled from what happened in that final episode decades before Picard series.

Season 3 felt disconnected from seasons 1 and 2. 1 and 2 tried to hard to appeal to modern audiences identity politics. With 3 it really feels like they took a page from Cobra kai, played the nostalgia card and wrote a love letter to the fans. I'm fine ignoring seasons 1 and 2. 3's the only one i'll ever consider rewatching anyway.

reply

if so, it was a crappy love letter

to be fair, most of these comebacks are crappy, anyways - most comeback shows - like full house, etc

Everyones entitled to their opinion. I personally enjoyed it.

I've read that seasons 2 and 3 were filmed back-to-back and that season 3 was already done filming when season 2 premiered. Given this fact, it would not shock me that season 2 turned out the way it did because Paramount gave the showrunners two seasons worth of a budget to work with and the showrunners decided they wanted to spend most of it on season 3 and that's why season 2 was a 21st century time travel story, to save on costs.

This hot dog shit ending that existed on member berries alone was trash. I actually preferred the garbage of the first two seasons. At least it had something to say.

I was wondering that as well. Agnes Jurati became the new Borg Queen at the end of Season 2. Now Alice Krige is back as the original Queen. So what happened to Agnes's Collective?
